All three. They have a new website that they are transitioning to and hence the old one is seems to no longer update. There is only so much manpower available (cost$). There is a process that is in place and if the applicant had more patience and followed the protocol then it could in the applicants eyes be viewed as it's  running much smoother. Oh, I am sure they are tired of "us" calling because there is no need to call if you are within the 5 month window that they advertise. I see a clear case of not reading the "READ THE SIGN' syndrome perpetuating. Just my 2 cent$.

I personally didn’t call them yet because obviously I will get a « not processing January fillers yet » answer. But thank you for your concern ☺️

I will just sit there and meditate til further notice 😇

You bring up a good point and something I have been advocating for many years. There is a process in placed. USCIS has provided the tools to be up to date on what is taking place with cases. If you are within the normal processing time, 5 months, then there is no need to call as I can guarantee you will get the pad answer "another 8 weeks" blah blah blah. For years, I have seen this in these threads, those who are waiting for their NOA2. Still it seems to be a problem for applicants and hence all the calls and stress and complaining and demanding and and and.... Let the process work. Follow timelines here on VJ and on USCIS websites. You will get your NOA2, it's just not when  YOU WANT IT.

rigghhht?? i think we should not call them until we hit 7 months mark maybe that way they are not distracted by phone calls and approve cases quicker? that's just my train of thoughts at this point. i know they said 6 month average but on the site it says 5-7 months and we should respecfully wait until we reach the 7 month(215 days). I'm on 189 days Jan 4 (passed the 6 month) but they haven't even started january so i think im gonna wait until august 4 to really call(if i dont hear anything)

The agents that answer the phones are not the ones that review our cases. So, it technically doesn't slow them down. they are slow because they want to be slow but not because people call a lot. :(

I really hope it's a whole different department.  I was basing on an interview that happened a while ago, i read in there that they received calls but i dunno if they alternate between reviewing cases and working the phone lines(they didn't really go in details).  Read it here http://www.visajourney.com/content/adjudicator-q-and-a, a VJ member used to work there and it helped shed some light, even if the process changed a bit at least i have an idea of what it means if your case is "touched" and how the work environment was back then. I know it's frustrating for all of us. but what's another month of waiting, i have registered myself for informed delivery from USPS(incase the website isn't getting updated, at least i have this to fall back on)

Get this:

I've been in contact with my representative about our case.

She just called me and said that USCIS said they don't have record of our case. I sent her a scan of our NOA1 and in my extensive experience, the WAC receipt number works on their website.

Wow. Annoying. But I made it clear to her that this why we need an advocate in this process. She's going on vacation but I will keep you guys updated on what comes of this.

I am thinking the same thing. people have been only getting the hard copy and no online notifications so.... that might mean that they already started January and next week they will get the NOA2 notices....omg we are so close!
