Seeing no more scan updates makes me sad :( Everyday when I wake up and before I got to sleep, I always check Nov and Dec forums to see how many got approved and it always makes me happy whenever I see the numbers.

I feel you :/

I'd ing up for USPS alerts. Every morning you'll get an email with a scan of each piece of mail arriving that day. Free to use. Go to USPS website to sign up.

The whole 134 sponsorship thing has been keeping me up at night.

How much does a partial dependant count against income?

I am so close to the cutoff for sponsor, it's worrisome.  I live in a low income/ low cost area, self employed, no mortgages or loans, paid for house, paid for cars.  It all comes down to how they count.

... and yes, I have backup co sponsors, but if I can do it without one, almost the better.

Random thoughts but, does anyone also think that maybe uscis stopped updating website because it was taking too much time in the process of approving people’s cases ?

Or maybe is it because they tired of us calling after looking through scans to find out case after ours was approved first😅

I think that will actually cause more phone calls flooding in because they are really leaving us in the dark at this point. Ough. More phone calls means we are slowing them down.  Nothing is working out for us

How is the dependent supported. 100% by you then 100% is the answer if less then adjust according to your commitment. Are you comparing your numbers against https://www.uscis.gov/system/files_force/files/form/i-864p.pdf?download=1. You will need 100% at the time of the interview and 125% at the AOS stage. To make things easier, and because the CO at your interview has a lot of leeway, I would recommend the 125%.

You bring up a good point and something I have been advocating for many years. There is a process in placed. USCIS has provided the tools to be up to date on what is taking place with cases. If you are within the normal processing time, 5 months, then there is no need to call as I can guarantee you will get the pad answer "another 8 weeks" blah blah blah. For years, I have seen this in these threads, those who are waiting for their NOA2. Still it seems to be a problem for applicants and hence all the calls and stress and complaining and demanding and and and.... Let the process work. Follow timelines here on VJ and on USCIS websites. You will get your NOA2, it's just not when  YOU WANT IT.

All three. They have a new website that they are transitioning to and hence the old one is seems to no longer update. There is only so much manpower available (cost$). There is a process that is in place and if the applicant had more patience and followed the protocol then it could in the applicants eyes be viewed as it's  running much smoother. Oh, I am sure they are tired of "us" calling because there is no need to call if you are within the 5 month window that they advertise. I see a clear case of not reading the "READ THE SIGN' syndrome perpetuating. Just my 2 cent$.
