I know this is kinda weird. But I am happy seeing my timeline move back from Aug. to July 24-29 again.

This tentative adjudication is just giving me(or I may say most of us) some ray of light.

May the coming weeks be flooded with approvals......Oh July! Please be good to us.:D:D

ohh my timeline moved back too! that feels good!

Hey guys as we anxiously await our NOA2’s, does anyone know how I can change my email address to update USCIS?? Our i129f application email, I unfortunately do not have access too because the phone number I associated with that email I no longer have and I can’t get into my email because the account is locked 😒😒😒😒

any and all help and suggestions are welcome🙏 I mean I don’t want to miss the email god forbid of NOA2 or NVC information

Follow the instructions found here https://www.uscis.gov/tools/get-e-mail-updates/email-updates-what-you-need-know.

After getting notified and receiving your NOA2 send an email to NVC asking for them to email both you and your fiancé if any updates occur. In the past they have replied when your case was received from USCIS, another when your case number has been assigned and when your case is being sent out to your Embassy without you having to make any further queries by phone. Here is where you send this information to:

Email address: NVCINQUIRY@state.gov

Subject: Your receipt #

Body: Petitioner's Complete Name Birthday ; Beneficiary's Complete Name Birthday

Or use the online form

It's an old interview. Although it might shed some light of adjudicator job and workload, I'm assuming some of them are taking a summer break now or go for holiday for fourth of July. I just hope it wouldn't affect the progress that much.

Hello all,

Got an email from USCIS today saying that they are still reviewing our case and that there are no updates at this time. And then it says that they last took action on our case June 18th. Does anyone know if this notification is a good sign or do people usually receive their NoA2 shortly after?

IN REGARDS TO WHICH DATE TO USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

Yeah I guess they are doing something to it since they said they touched it on the 18th. It's not an approval nor am RFE but at least it's an update of sorts.

It just means that they are still working on your case and the last time someone touched your case was on June 18. I wouldn't expect any type of approval until you reach 200-225 days from NOA1. That seems to be the time period that you could expect an approval as others have reported that is about the time they are approved. You have a way of knowing approximately when your file will be complete.

There are a number of tools available to you here on VJ. Go up to Immigration Timelines on the blue ribbon above and select it. Once you are on the next page looked to your left and you will see a box that states "find similar timelines" and select it. A list will populate with those who are processing close to your timeline. When they start to change you will soon be behind them. Also there is another place you can go and follow others who are processing the same time you are and for the same Embassy. Go to the blue ribbon at the top of this page and select "portals". Scroll down the left hand side of the page till you get to VJ "your country's name" Timelines. Just below it you'll see "K-1" so you select it and out pops a window with others from your country.

I got the same email a few weeks ago but mine said that the last time touched it was June 2. Maybe they are doing the background checks! :)

Who knows lol I hope so. But then that raises a few questions. Like how long does a background check take? Will be adjudicated shortly after this ? Like I'm at 167 days and I see that a few people from Brazil were adjudicated around 187ish days. Maybe we'll be adjudicated within the month? Lol

They are working very slowly on December. At Day 188 and haven’t seen too many updates on Dec filers in the 20’s. Our Received Date is 26/12. Yes there’s been a couple but that can’t be known or classified as a ‘proper’ touch. I’m counting down the days to our enquiry date 07/24. I too set up for email updates on case touches but I haven’t received any lol. How does that even work out if they are currently working on your processing month? Lmao 😂

Good luck
