we have the same exact dates! I submitted mine on the 29th and got NOA1 on January 4th.  it doesn't matter which forum You are in, the dates are so close to each other.  I'm checking the december forum daily and igor's list http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/monthly_filers.php, now they started approving 12/21, almost there!

I'm glad we are in this together. Hopefully we get approved on the same day🤞

Igor’s list is only useful if people update there time lines. If they dont(which can be seen by how many supposed case r still left) then it’s merely there to give a extremely rough estimate.

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

Good day everyone. I just wanna ask for some advice. I am now here in Hongkong and we are planning to transfer our case to Philippines once it is approved. Any thoughts how long will it take for us for the transfer? And what are the needed things to do? @Naes @Greenbaum @x_driven_x

Any insight is highly appreciated.

If you wish to have your immigrant/fiancée visa file transferred from one Embassy to another U.S. Embassy/Consulate, please contact the appropriate U.S. Embassy/Consulate directly in the country where you wish to apply and follow their instructions for case transfer. Please click here for the full list of all U.S. Embassies and Consulates overseas.

The old Embassy will need to receive a formal file transfer request from that U.S. Embassy/Consulate in the country where you wish to apply. Upon receipt of this request, they will immediately forward the file for the New Embassy to process.

Once you contact your New Embassy you then can discuss the transfer of your fee. Be sure to have your payment receipt available.

I have posted tips in what needs to be done to process your visa in the Philippines. Do you need those links also?

Ducks are very social & get stressed if not in a group. I got them for egg laying (slightly larger & more omega 3s than chicken eggs) so the more the merrier. lol! Nearly done with their day pen but had to order more wire mesh. They live inside in a toasty warm brooder box for now. Since it is warm here, they will go outside in the daytime when they are a week old & come inside at night. When they are bigger they will free range  in a pasture & have a (hopefully predator proof) house at night.

Oh gosh I love duck eggs. They're bigger and rich. Who doesn't like persen with salted duck eggs. My Chinese side of me would always say YES!!!

I have spent time talking with my fiance about what I'm going to do while waiting for EAD and AP. I told him I want to raise some chickens and start planting some vegetables. It might help with grocery budget and stay organic 😉

I know. Right when it’s our turn. They throw us a curve ball. It’s like they know lmao!! :jest:Well Igor’s list is still helpful to know what dates they are approving(for those that are updating). And sometimes the people in December say they approved but they don’t update their profile. That’s why I’m in there daily reading hoping to track them that way!! Soon soon

If your case is still at NVC then call them to request a transfer of your case to USEM. Don't be surprised if it doesn't happen and if so then follow my instructions in my earlier post.

Once you receive your case number it's time to be in charge of what time you choose when things get down. To smooth that trail for your I have a few things that will help you process your visa there in the Philippines.

Start by visiting Hanks site where he has taken the time and research, and of course it helps if you spent 8 plus years helping folks in the Philippines sub-forum get their visas, where he has listed each step. With those steps he includes the what, when and why to completing the item. Many have used the website and have had little or NO problems securing a visa from USEM.

http://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/k-1-visa-application.html

Next you'll want to connect with those who are processing through the Philippines in the VJ Philippines sub-forum that way you will be with like minded ppl who are sharing their experiences and also asking and answering questions. Since most in this thread are processing through another country they would be hard pressed to explain what is needed for the Philippines.

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/129-philippines/

You'll find this on Hank's website but I will give it to you early and that is the Packet 3 Letter for USEM. It's found here:

https://ph.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/fiancee-visa/the-interview/

Here is the Packet 3 letter.

https://ph.usembassy.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/82/2016/08/K1-and-K2-Applicant-Interview-Preparation-Instructions-08112016-English-336KB.pdf

There you have it. Everything you need to get your visa. Good luck and smooth sailing.
