I have a feeling that they might start January at the beginning of July, just as they did with December in June! I hope to see a lot of approval today for December!! :)

As do I. Man, it’s hard. Regardless of your filing date I feel. As a late December filer (received 12/26 and NOA1 12/29) you reach that point of just saying hurry up hahaha!

Next Tuesday marks our 6 month mark. We are just frustratingly waiting for them to work their way through up to 12/26. I have a feeling our NOA2 will fall in January’s NOA2 time. Not concerned at this point, simply keeping the faith. I do feel the way you all do just like we did as they just begun November. Keep the faith ❤️

Quite oddly my timeline shows adjudication around 13-18th July for a received date of 12/26. This should be wrong, so I wouldn’t have too much faith place on our VJ timelines. Many are reporting an adjudication 1-2 weeks before their VJ timeline. I’m estimating 12/26 be touched in next 2 weeks. Our actual enquiry date is 07/24, so I feel VJ May be slightly wrong here 🙈

Keep in mind that VJ's timeline is just an estimate, in no way an official thing. :(

Time will tell. So far, VJ timelines are not fully accurate from any December approved applicants so far. I’m end of month. I hope it’s not correct as it’s so close to my enquiry date (being 07/24). Date starred in my diary 😂😂☝️

So with an estimated NOA2 of early August as a worst case scenario, I could expect to have a interview around September/October?

Im in a bit of a tough situation in regards to the interview, there may be a need to reschedule my interview as I’ll possibly be out of the country from mid sep to mid Oct. Is there any big issue with rescheduling a visa interview? Ideally I’d love to get the interview done before I’m out of the country but now I’m thinking that would be highly unlikely. Might have to cancel my trip :(

My husband interviewed in Sydney. He had to reschedule once and it was a non-issue. He just had to email to reschedule his date. I was actually in Sydney the morning of his interview, it was a pretty straight forward and easy process.

Every Embassy is different but the Australian Embassy was pretty easy :)

Just take each step as it comes :)

01/31/17.... K1 Visa Approved

02/03/17.... K1 Visa Received in Hand

06/05/17....Arrived in the USA (LAX)

06/24/17....Married on Cape Cod <3

07/10/17....Sent AOS package (I-485, I-131, I-765)

07/17/17.... AOS notice date for NOA1 (I-485, I-131, I-765)

07/21/17.... Received mailed hardcopies of NOA1s

07/29/17.... Biometrics Notice received in mail

08/01/17.... Biometrics Appointment AOS - complete (walked in)

08/07/17.... Biometrics Appointment EAD - complete (walked in)

10/23/17.... EAD/AP card delivered to house YAY!

Good to know.  My fiancée would be interviewed in Sydney.  We're both flying to Singapore to meet her family this week.  After that, we'll be in Australia for a few more weeks.  I said I can extend the trip if it looks like we'll get an interview, but we'll have to see how much movement there is on her case (now at 158 days?).

By the way, @AshMarty, it looks like we're both in Maryland.  Your wedding was on our anniversary last year.  Small world!

Awesome! If you need any advice with the AOS, when it comes, let us know.

The DMV can be tricky stage in the AOS but my husband was able to get his Drivers license during AOS without his EAD in Maryland. Not all states let you do that but he was lucky enough to find someone that knew the laws here in Maryland during immigration :)

USCIS has only just come halfway through December for a few cases, so I reckon it's gonna be a few more weeks until we start seeing January cases getting Noa2 😊
