U have signed up for monthly updates. They will email u even if nothing as changed. Need to go to website and turn that off.

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date. 

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

Wow, what a soccer match between Portugal and Spain today, the Russia game was good yesterday too and i was so happy for Iran's victory today. Go Nigeria tomorrow!!! i have been distracted so far by the world cup, at least this would take my mind off this K-1 process until mid July. USCIS should have started January by then, I Pray. 

Distractions are good, lets embrace them, and our time will be here before you know it.

8/16/17 --- AOS Packet received Chicago USCIS Day 0

8/21/17  --- Received email & text notification 

8/23/17  --- Received hard copy of NOA  

9/01/17  --- Biometrics letter notice for I-485 & I-765 & I-131  

9/11/17  --- Biometrics Appointment Done

10/17/17 - Case Is Ready To Be Scheduled For An Interview

11/30/2017 - EAD/AP Approved
12/01/2017 - Card in Production
12/05/2017 - Received Approval Notice in the Mail
12/06//2017 - Card Mailed (Priority Mail) to Me
12/07/2017 - Card Received 

1/19/18  --- Interview Date 2/21

2/21/18  ---  Approved on the Spot

  • 1 hour after the interview received uscis mobile app alert
  • Status changed from "Interview is scheduled" to "New Card Is Being Produced

2/26/18  --- Received hard copy of NOA for the Green Card

2/26/18  --- USCIS Mobile Status changed to "Card was mailed to me"

As the receiving the NOA2 is approaching, is there anybody else who is feeling upset that you are leaving your family this soon?

I mean yeah we will finally be together with the love of our lives. But I guess there is also this struggle/difficult to say good bye to somewhere you are so familiar with.

Hi I'm a beneficiary of January filer.   Honestly not thought about it (yet).  Maybe because I'm looking forward for our NOA2 to come soon!! :)

Surely we'll be sad to be away from our family and friends.:( 

that feeling will sink in later part I guess eh...
