No wayyyy.... really??? Omg ... that is extra exciting!! I am pretty sure I will get an RFE tho because i forgot to answer one questions. I am thinking on sending an amendment letter to let them know the answer to that question to avoid getting the RFE but haven't done it yet.

Yep, my number looks just like yours.  Technically, I think I filled out the application correct.  I didn't discover visajourney until after I had submitted application.  So I have my concerns as to whether I provided enough evidence as to proof my fiancé and I had met.  The airline tickets, passport stamps, etc. prove I was in Philippines, but not necessarily met fiance.  I did provide one Airbnb reservation that included both our names.  We have met again after I submitted application and made sure we saved everything and took a lot more pictures. We will have a lot of evidence for the interview or any RFE.  The trip was a blast.  We rented motorcycles in Puerto Princessa and rode to El Nido on the island of Palawan (Philippines)

Hey guys, this might seem like a silly question but any insight would be helpful.

So my fiancee and I are engaged but we did not have a formal engagement. So there was no cake or anything like that. I tried getting her a ring on two occasions that she came to visit me in Brazil but did not like any of the ring models available here. So we decided that I'll just get her a ring first thing as I get to the US. So we didn't have a picture of an event in our petition since we mutually dicided to get married ( I know it's not romantic but that's how we do things lol ) and there's no ring yet. And there won't be one until I get to the US.

So my question is, do you guys think this will affect us negatively? Like will the consulate officer question me on this and find it suspicious or have there been people in more or less the same situation ?

Thanks

Nope. No effect whatsoever.

Not everyone follows traditions, not everyone even like rings.

You don't need to have a ring, we didn't have that whole engagement party nor an engagement ring. As long as you have submitted the intent to marry with your packet then you are fine. :)
