Yeah, that sounds like jumping the gun a bit... they haven't even started on December, and are probably not at 50% of November. I wish you luck though, I know it's not fun to wait!

Plenty of people waiting past day 200 right now.

I was going to say the same thing. I love the optimism, but they are still working on November and haven't even touched December so....NOA2 in 5 weeks for a January filer would be beautiful but highly unlikely.

I’m keeping my optimism. But i am still open for possibility of being adjudicated around August. My 7th month.

Nobody knows how early or how late our approvals. Nevertheless, we will be approved when our time comes. :D

I am not sure how anyone can guesstimate when they will start January or any month now because the old system that was used to determine these things, has almost been rendered obsolete, we are almost blind to what USCIS is doing because there is no way to run scans in the new system. we just need to be honest with each other and say we really dont know when they will start this month or that month anymore and stop the random throwing of dates. i have been seeing July will be when they start January or second week, how do you know?  The best way our timelines would be accurate would be if all the members who got approved, update their timelines and we know that doesn't happen. We just need to be patience and watch as it unfolds and support each other. Lets not cause hysteria by throwing unverified or fact less dates around. if you dont know, say you dont know and we will be okay with that. we know no one is a magician here and has a magical ball, that shows approval dates. At this point, the true data can only come from the USCIS.

It is a guess... even with the scans it is just a guess as june took 2 months but July took only 1 months so it always been just a guess.

People guessed before anyone used scans too. scans did not started that far back by the way they’re only around in a scheduled way since October.  Scans were never there to know how many applications were handled, but to see which dates were touched. As the dates are more important in order to see what’s next unlike the number they handled. The only order they have is the date.

You dont like guesses than dont take them into account.

I don’t have anyone for January actually. But yep they do look obsolete to me these days. Especially when I compared to see last quarter had a 30% of silent noa2 rate.

and this quarter after the new site I’m expecting it to be even higher.

I understand it has always been guessing But what i was saying is that previously, you and other who were doing the scans were able to use the old system and really provide great guesses. With the transition to the new system, increased silent approvals and timelines not being updated fully, those great guesses that we all took as solid facts, are now partially in accurate. and i am not speaking of you, @Naes but there are others who post on different monthly threads about their obsolete data and incorrect guesses as though it is facts like they work at USCIS. Thats why it is important for us to say i dont really know but here is what i guess or have seen from previous months that way people understand. there are folks on here that take these guesstimates and make plans for their future even thought they really shouldnt but it happens. Lets share hope and support.

This is probably directed at me. I just do my best to be helpful with the best estimates I can make with the data at hand, and I never claimed they were facts or anything like that, simply estimates based on imperfect  data.  And yes, that data does appear to be degrading over time as they do less and less updates on the old system.

You are free to do your own analysis of the available data, and make your own estimate if you'd like. You may not care about estimates, but there are a lot of people that take comfort in "reasonable" estimates than no estimates at all.

Feel free to logoff VJ and come back in a few months if the discussing, estimates, anxiety, and worries that people post are annoying to you.
