Is there a reason for all the pushbacks in the last few weeks on the timelines? I thought we were making progress with November?

We suspect that USCIS is transitioning to a new system, and that's caused them some issues either software or training, or something... that has caused them to slow down again.

Hey Sydney,

Welcome  Check out this thread, it seems that a tourist visa could be denied because the k1 is pending. Some people travel to the US on ESTA, look at this thread. They generally recommend to bring some proof that the k1 is being processed but the final result always depends on the POE and the officer   This is a good read for you too... ^_^

Thanks for the info!

Guys, don't depend on VJ timeline.
That's really going to disappoint you BIG time. It really doesn't mean anything because half the people on VJ don't update their timelines accordingly to help with that data.
Half of y'all most likely will get your approval AROUND the timeline and the other half are gonna be WAYYYY out there.

For all of y'all sorta new in the game- keep your eye on day 200. I know USCIS kinda picked up and tons of people in Sept/Oct got stuff around 180 but over time, I've seen that 200+ is most likely when things shall happen.
IF you pass day 200, THEN maybe you can start thinking about it.

Stay calm. Y'all are sooooooooo close :D

EXACTLY! I have tried to explain this multiple times and I guess it is just easier for people to have at least something to hold on to. I totally get it :( But yeah, the estimate date is calculated from VJ memebers' timelines (those who actually fill them out) and again it is JUST an ESTIMATE. Our time will come, just a little more patience

Nov 31st... hmmmm :)

But yeah, happy to see the last 2 days in November do have some traction, but there's still tons of cases left. I do think we will see a small amount of December cases next week, something more substantial the week after, and then the week of June 18th is when they will really get started full steam on December. Just my personal estimate.

Oooops..thanks for pointing that out :D I'm in final exams season and it's safe to say I'm lacking in sleep and sanity. You've been pretty on point in your estimates so it'll hopefully be no later than what you estimate. Always hoping for an improvement though! Thank you for your work!

I was doing fine with the time it was taking by distracting myself with things, exams etc.

Then my fiance got into a car accident yesterday. He's fine but those few words nearly drove me to a panic attack.

I should be there. :(

Oh no RambaCat :( That's my biggest fear and health/accidents are something so completely out of our control. I'm glad your fiance is okay though and I agree we should be together already. It's torturous that as citizens of our country have to be subject to this long and torturous process just to be able to live our lives next to our (future) spouses.

Give them a call to see if you have the right case number, and then ask what happened.  It's concerning to me that you never got the original I-797, too

I never got the I-797 and notification stated that my petition was withdrawn. I called them and they’ve opened a case to investigate. I just hope hey get this straightened out soon.
