I think we will start seeing our first January stragglers approved mid to late  June. I know that seems crazy since they have not touched December but my estimate date is July 4th and I see other timelines approved 2 weeks earlier than their estimate for November. Then again November has been a bizaare month.

Yes! I know people are trying to be practical with all the stats on processing times but I say don't just be positive - envision the outcome you want! Processing times used to be much faster & I know a lot has come along to change that, but they can still be faster than 2017s. Plus the data stats are based on is both incomplete & sometimes incorrect.

We still have a contingency plan but just like it doesn't tend to rain if I am prepared with my umbrella, fingers crossed we won't need our backup plan. Good luck & continue to envision quicker processing times!

I’m a late Dec filer and I honestly think you wouldn’t see a January approval next month. I’d be shocked if it happened. Mid July-mid August is when I think January filers will see their approvals. Now in saying that I’m predicting I’ll fall into your approval dates as our NOA1 was 29/12/17, so not far ahead of early January filers.

All we can do at this point is be positive. I’m not rocking my socks even though we are the next processing month. All I know is I am on Day 144 and can enquire about our case from the 27th July.

I think December will be a good opportunity to see if the old system will phase out completely and see if there is full moval to the new system which will affect daily scans as this data can’t be collated. I’m with you guys even though we are a late December filer. I’m feeling my approval hopefully will be 12-20th July even though VJ states June 30-July 6 ❤️

You do have a good point but hopefully you will see approval within your timeline since others have and even earlier. Perception is reality 😉

Do most ppl go to their fiance's interview? Or is it just that y'all want to be there? We had not planned on that, esp as we don't know when it will be & likely to be before flight prices come down from their summer height.

I read that US embassy in Jakarta allows petitioner to attend the interview with beneficiary. But before we know that, my fiance wants to visit me and be there for me during the interview even though he would just wait for me in embassy complex. He didn't know that if his name is not listed as a visitor that day he might have to wait outside the embassy. I told him, I would email the embassy to let them know that he wants to be there for my Interview so he could wait inside the embassy but from VJ review attending the interview with me is possible. He's never been so excited

I'm holding out hope that late-dec early jans will begin by late June. I think there's still hope for that. As others have said, most people do get theirs within their date take a week or two off. So im still hopeful for mid- late July for me.

I just took my fiance to the airport. He's leaving back to the US today. We have been moving some of my stuff there. I left my jackets and winter wear and my boots at his house on my last visit to the US and he's taking my books with him. He's moving to a new place soon before I move in with him. So taking logistical matters into account is very reasonable right now instead of worrying when we will get our NOA2. I'm also moving with my two cats so making sure we have enough cat food and fresh litter sand should be part of our moving plan too, not to mention working with a pet mover here. I have moved some of my money to his bank account and will transfer more before I move there and create my own bank account.

We won't see each other again until my interview. That's a good break before we're stuck together and get bored with each other in an institution called marriage haha😁

so happy that u guys had a chance to spend time together... I haven't seen my fiancé since December

Thanks, @LuFlolady. I just think meeting face to face is different from chatting on WhatsApp. The feeling is more real and the problems are more real too. I learn something new everytime we spend time together. Sometimes to the point where I ask myself if I'm doing the right thing and I'm not wasting my time. I can't imagine those who just met once and then decided to get married. Apart from immigration side, it's a risky move from relationship side. You'll never know someone very well even when you live together. I'm sometimes envious with those who don't have to go through LDR and immigration process in their relationship. It's tough. Very tough 😢

Just found this forum. I was hoping for NOA2 this month, but I'm not that optimistic anymore.

Jan 22, 2018: Electronic NOA1 is received

Date twins!! Welcome to this group. I'm thinking NOA2 wouldn't be here until late July-early August. There is still enough time to enjoy your life there and settle things you need to do before the time comes! 😊

I can't believe we are so close yet so far away from seeing an approval notice! :(  Why can't they just approve all the November ones and start working on December already :'( ... I am starting to think that my fiance's POE wont be until September-October. At least ...it will happen this year!!!

I know guys waiting is such a silent killer, honestly I read some posts and I think Im one of the lucky ones that can see their fiances a lot of times during the year, being close enough to travel and have some time off, my fiance always that has a chance to come to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico to visit me and my kids, or he buy us tickets to go over there, he was just here in april for a weekend and now at the end of June we are going over Cleveland to spend 10 days. I hope I can receive some news meanwhile Im there, that would be awesome. Meanwhile there we will fill all the paperwork we need in case we are approved he will give me all his w1 and job letter. Im kind of confused of what to do now, Im a buisiness owner and I dont know if its time to start thinking of closing my store, I have two little ones and they will be out of school soon too, Im starting to think of all the things I have to sell, pack  to move there, and its very exhausting anxiety to not know a date, a close time of when are we moving. I want to go to spend some time with my family at MExico City, spend time with parents, grandmothers and some friends there.  Meanwhile reading all your post give me so comfort here to know that we are all in the same boat, Hanging for some answers and that Im not the only one crazy here waiting for USCIS to rushh and finish november and december .

Yeah, my original estimate for POE was September, that was when things were starting to go really well in February. Now, I'm hoping our interview is in late September. Meaning POE in October, perhaps even November :( Im still holding out hope but trying to mentally prepare myself for the disappointment of waiting more.
