Def a positive sign and I hope there are a lot of silent noa2’s but the reality is 170 cases out of 3k plus cases have been touched in novemebr according to the scans. They have along way to go and hope they keep the pace. My guess is that we will see our dates touched in the 175-200 day range. Fingers crossed it moves faster but that’s my guess. I have come to the realization that If She prob won’t get VOH till the end of September. I last saw my fiancé in the beg of March and just decided to book a week vacation for her and I in Antalya next week. I’ll then go back for 2 weeks in July to visit her and will go back the final time for interview and move to the USA. We have no control over the process.

Yeah, I like to be positive too--and you can see that in my other posts. But when I wrote the comment they still hadn't approved any early Nov. and  (as you know) with USCIS, sudden and weird changes are not the best sign. Just pointing out that it made me a bit nervous.  I'm also thinking the same about VOH. Hopefully it can be in September so he can have POE in October.

Yes, I know! I saw right after posting the comment. That's great, I'm glad things are progressing so that we can keep the positive spirit. Just unpredictability (ESPECIALLY WITH USCIS) makes me nervous.

Hm guys, I'm wondering how November will procede! They've really concentrated on the latter half of the month up until the 27th and they've now touched the first three days as well. Technically, only 7 days of November remain untouched. I wonder (hopeful wondering) if they go through the rest of 7 days in the next 2 week, December can actually start during May!! *Crossing fingers*

I saw one Dec 1 NOA1 who just got their NOA2.  I know it is not December starting in earnest and the first half of November still needs a lot of work, but a good sign. Anyone have an idea how they divide up the work? Alphabetically by last name? State? Country emigrating from? Randomly placed in people's inbox? Although none of that would really explain why the later half of Nov is getting more attention ..... but I have to believe there is some kind of method to the madness!

That early one December 1 approval might be an expedited case. There’s a big probability that it is.

It was my understanding that if an application is approved to be expedited that it would likely achieve NOA2 within a few weeks (especially for military reasons.) Certainly within a few months? Dec 1 is about 5.5 months which is the earliest possible time they give on their website (if that still has any validity) for getting NOA2 level approval.  I kinda hope they're getting ever so slightly closer to processing times of yesteryear, though I know we won't return to times of VOH within 3-5 months.

There are lots of criteria to expedite a case. https://www.uscis.gov/forms/expedite-criteria

We never know the real reason of the early approval. Right now we can only assume that it was a random approval or an expedited case til we will be seeing some more December approval in the next coming days. There we can conclude that they are already touching December cases.

So it’s safe to say that, that one December 1 is one of the luckiest. :innocent:

I think that December 1 approval has a received date of November 28.

That would make a lot of sense. Plus if it's December actually, it can still be expedited. Expedited cases have been taking their sweet time as well.

Yeah, NO ONE is able to explain why they started May with mid November approvals. Maybe they just want to mess with our heads, like they're not messed up enough already :jest: About the system how they divide the work, I don't think it is based of the country, it could be simply based of the order you application gets in. It is actually supposed to be in your WAC number, the last three digits show where you stand that day. So I would guess one person gets a box with WAC1890...001 (the first application opened that day) up until I don't know WAC1890...500 (there are some other petitions as well, not just 129f, so the number gets pretty high ). And then, it depends on the person, if they're slow or fast, if they go on a vacation... :D And why they randomly decided to start working on o absolutely random box of Nov 17 files - not explainable :jest:
