Problems updating my timeline

I have a problem updating our timeline (K1).  We've just received the email that the NVC received our case and will forward it to the embassy.  This email is from 2/23.  CEAC shows two dates:

  • Case Created:09-Feb-2018
  • Case Last Updated:23-Feb-2018
  • (Status: Ready)

The timeline entry page has three date entry fields in the NVC section:

  • Date Package Received by NVC
  • Date Case #, IIN, and BIN assigned
  • Date Package Left From NVC

I'm assuming that "Case Created" date is supposed to go in the "Date Package Received by NVC" field, and the "Case Last Updated" date in the "Date Case #, IIN, and BIN assigned" field.  Is that correct?

However, when I enter these dates I get an error message.  The problem seems to be that our NOA2 is back from 11/8/2017, and the system can't believe that it took that long for the case to make it to the NVCBut it did.  Apparently, our case had gotten lost.  So they re-sent it three months later.  Any thoughts from VJ insiders what dates am I supposed to enter where in the timeline?  Thanks in advance.
