She sent the last package to us USPS and it sat on the truck for more than a week because we were having a typhoon. We had no idea where the package had gone until we went looking an found it was at he post office!

 

Thank you! We hope we get the PCC NBSA very soon also! That will really be NB nice, and then we will have everything we are missing to send to Immigration!

Yeah I learned the hard way as well when shipping to the Philippines with the USPS. It gets routed to Philpost  and put into a dark hole somewhere.

I wrote and asked Immigration, and St Luke's Medical Examinations are only valid for six months. So if we have to wait too long for our Police Clearance Certificate from Lebanon we will have to do the medical examinations all over again!

 

Please be aware that medical exams are generally valid for six (6) months.

 

Please note that immigrant visa applicants are required to update any documents (i.e., medical exam report, NBI clearance, etc.) that may have expired, prior to visa issuance.

I had read it both ways, that they were good for a year and also that they were good only for six months! Immigration says they are good for six months!

We got a 220 g the day of our Interviews for three reasons, or the lack of three documents! My sister's joint sponsorship failed! She didn't know that you can't reduce your declared income for income tax purposes, and then say your income was the higher amount before deductions! Immigration considers your income what you report it as to the IRS! She reads her I-864 for us using her 2017 Return, and she listed Assets that are valued far beyond what we need to qualify her as our Joint! So that is taken care of?

 

We didn't think we needed the CENOMAR for my wife because we have now been married for more than four years, and we were married here in the Philippines both in terms court house and the church and they don't require the CENOMAR of everyone. I think it is up to the Interviewing Consular officer, because we now people that Immigration did not require that of? But guess what, they are requiring that of us. We have ordered that and it is ready in Roxas City for us to pick up. So that is no problem!

 

Our only problem is the Police Clearance Certificate from Lebanon that Immigration is requiring of my wife! It small unfair that Immigration does not let people know that is a requirement until they have completed the GS-260 Online. Then after completing that you receive a guide for preparing for the Visa Interviews and in that guide we are told we Ave to have a Police Clearance Certificate from Lebanon because of working and living there for two years and to months!

 

Then we started feverishly working to get that Police Clearance Certificate from Lebanon. We wrote emails both to the US Embassy, and the Lebanese Embassy! Finally MN the Lebanese Embassy wrote us an email, and said, "Have your wife call our number here at the Lebanese Embassy," which we did! Consulate Jenny old my wife to come to the Embassy, and we did that April 26, 2018!

 

Consulate Jenny helped is finish the paperwork, and I wrote a letter of request, and that completed all our requirements, and he gave us a letter with a certificate saying that my wife had applied for the Police Clearance Certificate from Lebanon! She told us that the waiting time would be three to six months! It has been now nbsa 41 days that we have been waiting!

 

Our biggest problem is that our medical examinations, three of them, and expensive are only valid for six months! Of our Police Clearance Certificate from Lebanon does not come soon we will have to do three medical examinations, and pay for them again! A lessor problem is that my wife will have to get another NBI POLICE CLEARANCE, because that one is only nbsa valid until September 5, 2018!

 

It seems that Immigration could, should do a better job informing people in advance of requirements that take three to six months to obtain!

 

They as set up people for failure when they write an email suggesting people schedule nbsa their Interviews and medical examinations before getting the Police Clearance Certificate from Lebanon!

 

So we are now hoping and praying for the Police Clearance Certificate from Lebanon soon so we will not need to redo the medical examinations and renew the NBI Clearance!

 

It you need a Police Clearance Certificate from a foreign country be sure to do that before scheduling anything else!

Petition is not an easy process if your lucking documents to show them...

Yes all the Married Filipina to foriegn nationals is requested to have CENOMAR ... And definitely they nees Police certificate from where you have lived or worked for more than 6mos ....

As I said here before I also need tje Police Certificate from Lebanon since I worked there for 3years....

That was one of the reason why our petition been delayed coz we wait the pice certificate from Lebanon...

I apply it to Maam Jennifer as will Last March this Year and shes was so nice and tell me.exactly what to do and requirements to send for application of PC, and guess what I did it aithout going to Lebanon embassy manila😊 Maam Jen told.me I can apply it without me taking a flight to Manila since I am living in Iloilo ... She told me to sens all the requirments to LBC as will the payments which realy convenient for me😂... And Gues what I been planning to request of letter to Maam Jen stating that my PC is under processing already and that I applied for PC in Lebanon this Week because me and my husband planning to send all our civil documents to NVC This Month...

We secure and check all the requirements and we have it all aside from PC!!! And in my suprised 3days ago Maam Jen called me on Viber and said to me that my PC is already came and Ready 😍 I was really happy and it was earlier tha I expected I waited it less than 3mos 😊 Yes my PC Is Ready only thing is it should be translated to english which I process already today sending the fee for translation cost 1,500 and after that anytime it was ready for pick up and ill going I have that probably next week 😊 by the help of LBC ... It save us lol our documents is all complete before sending to NVC this month!!!! 

All including my CENOMAR and local police clearance or NBI .... 

 

Onlu thing is were quite doubt about the AOS my husband have all the last 3years of his income tax returns. W2 and employment letter from his current employer.... 2017 his tax return never meet the poverty guidlines for he started only his Job current job right now June last year thats why it was low....

But he have the last 6mos pay stab and his current annual income this is greater than the poverty guidlines which hopefully it help us to be approve in AOS ... My husband never get the sponsor joint acct. Coz he is confident that he can pass the AOS coz of the oay stabs and employment letter from his cutrent employer.... But we also prepared to have someone to be a joint sponsor if ever the NVC inform him that he never meet the poverty guidlines ....

So now we take the risk sending all the documents to NVC without joint sponsor ... And we hope everything will flow smooth untill the interview date came...

We plan to have my medical interview 2weeks or 1 month  before the interview date...

 

I am prepared and we both help each other to gather all info about oetition and documents we need ..

Will I want everything to be in place so theres no delation to be occur when interview date come in... For i am also affraid to be under 221g coz i read the dissapointments of all couples who been through that... But will that AOS is the only thing we are concerned rest we have all but not really sure about AOS of my husband.. I hope it will be fine and that immigration officer who will handed me during interview will accept the supporting docs. My husband share to NVC about his AOS....

 

Right now im.glad PC is ready 😂

But still having mixed emotions

You have 2 options for that

1. By appling it in lebanon emabassy in Manila

2. By using Power of attorney if your wife have friends or relatives in Lebanon Country

 

But for me? The best and not expensive option is to apply it in Lebanon embassy in Manila...

I will share some of my experience using Power of attorney which is expensive for just having it... 

I got a Friend in lebanon so I asked her to get in my behalf... I gathered all my documents which i have in lebanon such employer certificate old passport which I used in Lebanon and letter of request for police certificate from me including notarized special power of attorney note: after you notarized it you need to aunthenticate the power of attorney in DFA Manila...

So many to process in this option and its expensive 😪 for I send all this documents through DSL from here in Iloilo which is my City going to Lebanon inorder my friend to recieve it...

My friend take time to process it but it dont works for her😭 some police station she been thru need a lettrr from my previous employer inorder to have it and i was so upset since my employer past away already 2years ago...😔

They asked some more papers for me😞 it means i need to send that papers again from here going there wow😣

I payed DSL almost 3,500 to send that in lebanon but yet im not just lucky to have it... If i am?? My friend could get that thesame day she apply it there for me..

But? I never lost option or hope when i knew it I suddenly research about lebanon embassy in Manila and have there info 😁 i talk to Maam Jenny the consulate of lebanon embassy and gave me information what i need to gather...

And she just ask me simple papers not like in Lebanon when I did that😪

So last week o already send my documents to her through LBC i payed 225 for that. Yup no need to go in Manila if your living Far or in a province, at first i was worried i need to ride in a plane from Iloilo going to Manila just to Request it😂

And this week i will pay the processing fee,  yup theres a processing fee which cost 2000php...

Only thing is yes its not expensive but its long to process the processing time will take 3-6 mos before you get it...

But atleast not that expensive, all you need to do is to wait and pray that the Police certificate will come before the interview date... 

 

Me and my husband are under IR-1 case next month we will send our civil docs.. Atleast i started already requesting PC and just wait it.. If its not gonna come before the interview sets all we need to do is to reschedule the interview date then so i can have it on my hand when it comes

We are done about the PC and Im already here in the Us

All you gotta do os contact the lebanon embassy in manila it takes 3-6 mos to process in my case when I applied it I got it after 3mos of waiting

Ohh i see... Why dont you try to search online if they have embassy in Manila or iether if you still have contact with your employer let them know your employer can also get it for you in Abudabhi if not then go to thier embassy at manila then... I know they have one in Phils just keep searching...

My fiance worked in Lebanon at one time also, since then shes working in Hong Kong currently. She can contact the Lebanon Embassy now for whatever time it takes to get the clearance papers? Is a attorney needed to get them to process it?
