I think she said it was global FedEx.

She did the CFO lat November. Her fourteen year old son needs to do Peer Counseling before we go to the USA. I got a response from Monica the lawyer. We need to return to Roxas City. Can we do what needs to be done for the POA by mail from Roxas

I would like to tell everyone who is in need of a police clearance report from Lebanon that it can be obtained within a month by using Monica Ayache of the Fakhry Law Frim in Beirut Lebanon.

My finance was told at her interview that everything was in order except she needed to provide a police clearance report.  She went to the Lebanese Consulate the next day and paid 2000 pesos for a report that will take 3-4 months to obtain.

We didn’t want to wait an additional 3-4 months as quoted by the consulate so we contacted 10 different law firms in Beirut via their websites.  Three firms returned our inquiry and the first to respond was Monica.  She was also the only person to itemize the tasks/charges involved in obtaining the report on our behalf.

The first step was to get the Power of Attorney (POA) that Monica provided us via email legalized at the Lebanese Consulate at a cost of 1500 pesos (Legalization is a process that uses a consular officer to notarize the POA).  We then sent to POA to her in Beirut via Fed-X.  After paying the requested fee via Western Union, Monica got the POA legalized then submitted it to the main Police Station.  The clearance report was issued in 10 days.  The entire process took Monica 17 working days. She sent the report back to us in the Philippines via DHL.

You can contact Monica at the Fakhry Law firm in Beirut at Monica.Ayache@fakhrylawfirm.com.  She did a great job for us.  Every email that we sent her was promptly returned.  Monica was very professional and the process was transparent unlike so much that we have read about getting this report.  This wasn’t without cost but it did save us months waiting.  We hope this helps others in their Visa Journey.

Hi Happy Surfer! How much did all the legal fees cost to get that Police Clearance Certificate from Lebanon? It is nice to be able to get the Police Clearance Certificate faster, but we don't have a lot of money, so we may need to wait until not comes the slow way unfortunately. We are paying as we go with not much money left over, and we don't want to spend enough that we have problems with money later. I contacted Monica and got two emails outlining the details procedure. But we don't know what it will cost us to do that. If you would let us know what the legal fees would cost than we will nhav a better idea whether to use the lawyer for faster processing or wait the needed time. If you would be so kind let us know what the legal fees would cost?

Thank you so much!

It is my understanding that the POA can be legalized through the mail or courier service by the Lebanese Consulate in Manila.  Contact them via email to confirm.

I did all the process including power of attorney but i told you guys lebanon police station needs more than that...  They being so strict now in lebanon...

I have done all the process and all i spend is nothing... Will i say that its because my employer already past away .. But i told you guys they need letter from employer you have work there... Or maybe just in my case.... All i can say i spend so much for nothing there in lebanon even using even an atorney there ...

Thats the reason why we personaly apply in lebanon embassy in manila less paper they need and less spend for a police cert  . But need to wait 3-6 mos better to have it than nothing...

I don't understand how to do what we need to do. We need to leave Manila this coming Tuesday. Will we be able to do the POA from Roxas City by mail?

Thank you!

Did you already buy plane tickets to the USA or do you mean leave Manila for Roxas City? How did your sister send the documents to the Philippines?

You FIRST have to actually get the paperwork and then send it in to the embassy, only then will they will look at it and approve/deny your asawa's visa. Once they receive all the documentation they need then it could take several days or weeks before they act on it.

Edit. If you are responding to someone PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE quote that person so that they can see when you respond. I never saw that you responded to me until almost 6 hours later.

It seems like they really don't know what to do in all honesty in how to get some documents they need in order to be approved. If it's that much of an issue then they need to go to the Lebanese Embassy and see what they need there.

I neverhad a pkane ticket it cuase we need to secure everything to be correct before interview i dont have yet interview date but we want to make sure we have everything before it happen so theres no more delations .

221g isnt easy it took weeks or months or untill you provide what the embassy ask... Police cert takes time better to have it and complete your papers before interview for no delation...

Think as will that medical examination only last for 6months better to have everything rather to start all over again....

No plane ticket to the USA until the visa is in hand. My sister shipped global FedEx. We will have that first. Then ten days later the CENOMAR, then waiting for the Police Clearance Certificate from Lebanon, and then we will send everything to Immigration so our Visas can be approved!

I looked at ***removed***,and asked another person here and St Luke's Medical Extension Center Examinations are valid for one year, and hopefully we can get everything completed a long time before that!

I have seen somensay they are valid for six months Soni am NB writing the Immigration asking them about the validity. Our Police Clearance Certificate from Lebanon could take three to six months to arrive here, and if St Luke's Medical Examinations are only valid for six months, that is not enough time for us to get the Police Clearance Certificate. And send the documents to Immigration, so I wrote to the Immigration asking them about that?

I found this in RapidVisa.

is the validity of the medical examination?

    • The medical reports are valid for a period of one year from the date of your medical examination. The examination must be repeated if the reports have expired or will expire prior to your entry into the United States.

So I think the medical reports from medical examinations bare valid for one year, and we need that. With a report from the medical examinations from St Luke's we need to land on the USA within one year after the medical examinations! We should be able to do that!

That is great that she shipped it FedEx and you probably told DO NOT USE USPS to send it here. Now you just need the CENOMAR which is easy and the PCC. I hope you get it soon.
