Did you contact a congressman or senator? They might be able to help speed things up.

Did you receive an RFE?

I think an RFIE restarts the processing time, so you might still be within normal processing times, depending on when they received your RFIE response.

To contact a senator or congressman, Google and find out who your elected officials are. Their websites usually explain what's the best way to contact them; some want you to call, some prefer email, others want you to fill out a form first. Explain your situation and if they decide to help, they will inquire with USCIS and USCIS is obliged to respond. And that draws their attention to your case, so it might help to speed up the process.

You could also apply for jobs, and when you have a job offer, request an expedite for your EAD. However, my expedite process still took 6 weeks, so you need a very patient employer...

Good luck! I hope you hear something soon!
