Just wondering if anyone has any idea how long the wait is after the interview and all extra required documents have been turned in and are sure that they have the documents! His interview was on Jan 16. All documents done on Feb 9,2018. The doctor said he had sent them to the Embassy. I’m not sure how he sent the documents if by mail or Cargo Trans? I called the Embassy on Friday Feb 16th trying to find out Info. They said just to be patient. No one has even looked at our case this week. Usually when you check your visa status it will show the date updated whether anything changes or not! It last shows updated on the 16th but that’s Because of my phone call and the guy on the phone opened the case in the computer so it updated. Why do they just sit on it when they have the info needed?? Any answers?? Assumptions?

I would plan on a month to six weeks from submission to hearing anything more.

Do you know the reason or reasons why there’s a month to six week waiting period?

You go back in a queue for review.
