@Naes yey that’s a good news so you are saying my laywer could be right from his side

Of course he can be right, not all lawyers are bad :) most immigration lawyers don't really know the k1 process though, because it is a rather easy and not exactly an "immigration" case. We hear lots of horror stories here.

But, we wont hear the approvals till a few more weeks.

after hanging out here for 5+ months... opening a k1 specified visa agency became the recurring joke.. maybe I should think about it after my ead 🤔

It's ok. Believe me I'm used to being called to man up! Hehe I should change my nickname maybe.

You should probably put "Not a Guy" in your headline just so everyone knows and a little a gag. Hahahaha

This is a letter I sent to my lawyer. I filed 5/30/2017 then sent back a RFE 1/27/2018. I’m going on 9 months now.

Is it like this for all your clients ? I’m starting to feel discriminated against. I’ve been to the Philippines 🇵🇭 4 times this year to be with my fiancé. If met all the requirements. I’ve paid the fees. Thousands of people are getting k-1 visas that have filed months after us . There is no one to call or email at immigration. It’s like they are hiding from their customers. I have no idea who’s desk my application is sitting on and collecting dust. There is no way to check to see if they even received our RFE evidence we sent in. What if it was lost or something??? It’s almost been 9 months now. I’m losing my mind to be honest.

@Naes Actually I am from India and very new to this forum so don’t know many option how to use that. I am extremely sorry for calling g** , just couldn’t figure it out. Yes I am paying to lawyer and I don’t have much information what is going on with my case , as I said my lawyer told me on 16 January that uscis was started working on case and saw one of your message saying that they will soon touched September cases? Just little bit confused anyways thanks for all information much appreciated

@Puneet12  Some people are a bit too sensitive.  It took us 5 months before we were approved, we submitted 4 May 17, approved 14 Oct17 from USCIS.  In the meantime, start getting all your other documents in order, some take time to get, but also some cannot be older thank 6 months (passport photos, police records for example)

@Puneet12  Also, my tracker app to this day still says pending, so you can't always rely on it.  I checked our May filers almost daily on VJ for case status updates and it was never ours that showed up.  It took me calling them 3 times and luckily on the 3rd time I got a Tier 2 officer that told me we were approved.  But give it at least 5 months, they are backlogged with all the immigration and DACA stuff going on.  Good luck, don't lose faith!

It is now 6-7 months of a wait. Things have changed.

it's not sensitivity, it is not liking one sort of stereotype.

Trust me I understand that.  Yes the immigration and DACA is definitely making everyone's wait longer.  Good luck, keep the faith and keep poking them.

That's all we can do... after May, it went downhill for June they waited even longer, but it's getting better. Op and me have only 1 day apart hope we only have a few more weeks to go.
