Hello everyone,

i just wanna to confirm one thing that uscis received our case on 14 September 2017 and it’s been 162 days till now we have not hear anything from them. Is it normal has anyone faced this same issue

please let me know

They are doing june to august cases (main focus August at the moment.

the latest date touched as of today is August 29.

please follow September filers topic for information.

if you create a timeline in your profile you could get an estimate timeline for adjudication.

the average noa2 wait is 180-210 days right now with lots of people waiting longer than that, so it is normal for this year.

Correct but they mentioned as of 31 st December and also my lawyer mailed me on 16 January 2018 saying that uscis is currently reviewing my case. Any idea how long they will take more ??

I literally told you the most current information.

i can go even better in detail.

They  were not even doing july by December but to correct their timelines they put august 1 as of December 31. The first july approval that was not expedite appeared online as of January 10. And first August came in on February 5.

most likely September will start in a week or so. Then they will reach your case. They do not go in a perfect order.

Again; follow September filers topic or just go see around june july and August about how many are approved.

This info is only for I-129f petition for fiancé visas

if spousal visa petition info is needed, it would be more accurate to ask in cr1/ir1 forum.

Naes is from Turkey but she lives in Japan, she is not a lawyer but might as well could be all of our personal K1-Visa lawyer.

She is, like you, a September filer and she probably won't see your reply and questions unless you quote her post or you can also mention her by typing "@" then "Naes" and choosing her username from the dropdown menu.

All of us are experiencing the K1 process and its very lengthy and worrying wait times, so trust us but do know that we aren't 100% correct all the time because USCIS officers basically don't tell us anything, just like they won't tell your lawyer and you everything.

I am a July filer. I waited at least 220 days for my response. Expect to wait around that many days. Some forumers are waiting much longer than I did, even though they sent their petitions before I did.

Cheers and welcome to the Visa Journey community!

@Naes, correct me if I'm wrong.

@Naes Actually I am from India and very new to this forum so don’t know many option how to use that. I am extremely sorry for calling g** , just couldn’t figure it out. Yes I am paying to lawyer and I don’t have much information what is going on with my case , as I said my lawyer told me on 16 January that uscis was started working on case and saw one of your message saying that they will soon touched September cases? Just little bit confused anyways thanks for all information much appreciated

It's ok. Believe me I'm used to being called to man up! Hehe I should change my nickname maybe.

they touched August 29 cases today. So most likely will start September next week.

they usually make a quick overall first go through all the dates, then go back and finish whatever left. If you're lucky you may get your case in the first round (which can be 2--3 weeks or even less) or it may take a little longer.

my advice is, follow that August topic first or September one whichever you like. I post daily results I gather from the daily movement that shows online and give as much info as I can gather.

Also they are not updating all approvals online. So they actually have more approvals than it shows, but the dates of how far they came is accurate.

also lawyers don't have much info in this too...so I hope your lawyer is right , I just didn't see many of them being right.

Oh 1 more thing, your case is probably either is being processed now or really close to it, however approvals probably don't come right after it. So there is also that tiny delay.

however as long as we don't have approvals coming in it really doesn't help us so we don't count that part much.
