I know the answer is obvious that I have to get Infopass to go to USCIS. But, in my case, I have something that I really want to know about.

I went to USCIS in NYC(with infopass) to get I-551 stamp on my passport. At that time, I applied renewing Green card, but didn't take the fingerprint and photo at ASC yet.

So, the clerk told me that i need to come back after taking all of processes about renewing Green card. Then, I asked her whether I have to make a new appointment or not and, I told her that I would travel to the my native country in March.

She affirmed me that I would need no appointment new if I explain about my situation of traveling and bring my airline ticket or any document, then I would be able to get the stamp.

Here's the thing, I'm still nervous if I will be prevented at the USCIS office because of not possessing Infopass.

I want to know whether the clerk's affirmation is dependable.. I already got the ticket and an appointment is not available before the leaving date.

Yes, you can do a walk-in for an emergency infopass --- bring proof of impending travel, your passport, green card and any other documentation relevant to your issue.   Since you don't have an actual appointment, you will need to explain to security at the front why you are there.

Thank you so much, guys.

The security guard require me the officer's name who gave me an advice, but I didn't know her name.

whatever, another officer who could provide an emergency Infopass told me that I would get it immediately if my pending travel is within 24 hours..

Anyway, I will be able to obtain Infopass and take the stamp on my passport, and I'm pretty sure the officers in USCIS have different informations about the same issue each other. So, if someone hears or asks the officer something, you'd better ask her/his name too.
