Hello all, I am applying for the K1, my fiance will interview in Manilla. I am concerned about the proof of support because my last two years tax returns are both less than 5k.  I left the military in 2016 and went to school for a full year so no real income. I currently have a job earning around 7k gross per month, how much savings do I need in the bank to prove I can support her ? Thanks

You're currently making way more than the minimum required. Just provide pay stubs showing you're making $7k/month and you shouldn't have any problems.

I thought I had to show 3 years tax returns or like 20k savings?

No. The 3 years tax returns are recommended when you adjust status (apply for the green card), but not for the K-1 visa. Doesn't hurt, but it isn't a requirement.
