Hi All,

My fiance received the MNL Case Number via email yesterday (Thank God :)). We applied for K-1 and K-2 Visa.

Now, I'm starting to follow the steps in the email sent by  <IVMNLAppointments@state.govwith the Subject Line: Immigrant Visa Application.

Can I ask for your help please.

1. In the body of the email, it says that I have to fill out DS-160 application form with this link (as per below). But when I open it, I noticed it's for IMMIGRANT VISA. I thought we are applying for Non-immigrant Visa all along. Can you please enlighten me about this. I have the hunch that the link was sent in error as it should have been NON-IMMIGRANT Visa Application?

FROM APPLICANT(S)

- Application Fee

- DS-160 form for all applicants. Completed new DS-160 application form(s) to be filled-out online at https://ceac.state.gov/iv/

2. Supposing the link stated is correct, I can't go through as I don't know the Invoice ID Number from NVC. My fiance forwarded me an email coming from NVC with word attachment but it doesn't include any Invoice ID #.

3. Which is the correct link I should fill-out for the DS-160 Application for K-1 & K-2 visa?

Thank you in advance for your help.

I called NVC tonight to get the case number and the guy gave me an invoice number too.  Maybe you get it by calling.  I don’t know what it’s for, but I guess I do after reading your post.  😂

Hi! May I also know what you did from the email you received from IVMNLApppintments@state.gov? I have also received my MnL case number via email and had my finished my ds-160 from the usual site not the one stated in the email. Do you think I’ll get in trouble with this?
