I had my interview today in Roanoke and I was approved. Thank you to all those who helped make this process. The whole thing lasted 45 minutes from the time we walked in and walked out. I had a very nice male officer who joked around. For all those who are out there still waiting...dont worry yourself like I did. My passport was stamped and I was told that I would receive the GC in 3 months.

Thanks Guys,

I guess I can relax now that this part is over. I worried for nothing. The interview wasnt that bad.

The questions that were asked are:

Photo ID & Passport

Verified Address

Verified SSN

Asked 5 questions from the I485

How we met

Do we have any children

My co-sponsers tax returns. My husband made more than the 125% so he was fine with that.

When I quit school...I told him that I didnt I just changed schools. Showed proof of that.

When did we moved in together.

What I am studying

Evidence of marriage

And that was basically about that.

As long as you prepare your package, are truthful and have a valid marriage then everything will go fine. I wasnt even asked a quarter of what was on the interview letter. Best of luck to all those who are waiting.

Lissa
