La Pierre is just a spokesperson for the NRA like Huckabee-Sanders is for Fat Orange Nixon. NRA exist to make money, that is their main priority, if the can get more guns out there, the more profit for them. The only place you can hurt the NRA is through funding, that's why all of these companies pulling out is a significant development. They are nothing without cash, it's why they can bribe most GOP politicians to their side.

A few pages back, when you threw out some BS, completely inaccurate info, you told me I should know my history.  I am going to encourage you to do the same thing.  Education is very important, or so we are told.

 

The NRA is a non-profit organization.  Their main priority is gun education overall,  but they started out by trying to improve marksmanship.  Why?  Union soldiers typically fired 800-1000 shots to even hit a confederate soldier.  Pretty dismal scores, eh?

 

They sponsor shooting tournaments, education classes, and all manner of things to do with improving one’s ability as a gun owner.  In fact, it wasn’t until 1975 that they got involved in gun control.  That means the first 104 years of their existence had nothing to do with gun rights at all.  The NRA supported both the National Firearms Act (NFA) of 1934, as well as the Gun Control Act (GCA) of 1968.

 

The NRA-ILA, or Institute for Legislative Action, began in 1975, and that is the political part of the NRA that you probably find so despicable.
