Erick Erickson over at The Resurgent seems about as skeptical as I am of the censorship claim, but has the benefit of having worked with CNN in the past, whereas I have not.

I have participated in enough CNN events to know that they’ve never done this when I’ve been involved and to the extent they get people to ask “scripted” questions, they work with people to get their question more narrowly focused so they don’t have microphone hogs monologuing. It has nothing to do with insisting only certain questions be asked.

It's sickening how the right wing media are peddling conspiracy theories against these children. They're victims of a mass shooting and they've accused them of being actors. Despicable.

Actually it is one of the children that is accusing CNN of using the tragedy to promote a cause.

okay, so don't believe it. cnn had a town hall, where they discussed arming teachers, but wouldn't allow this kid to be involved because his question was about arming teachers. makes no sense, but believe what you want.

CNN feeding questions to a major candidate during debate season makes no sense either.  Sometimes the mainstream media does things for political reasons, but believe what you want.

oh i will. filtering questions/participants of a televised 'town hall' style meeting sounds like something that has always been done. it's television. do you think fox would have a live discussion on the wonders of trump and not make sure they chose appropriate participants to push their view? probably including a couple crazed never trumpers to act a fool and make non trump supporters look bad? i mean, why do you think trump likes to stick with his 'friends'.
