USEM does follow Philippine law for legality of divorce within the Philippines .. must be FREE to marry .. sharia divorce for a civil wedding is not recognized,  If the divorce took place in another country that is a different story.

The embassy cracked down on this over a year ago.

You have fun with that ...

Yes its funny because the PSA recognized my divorced and i have letter from PSA Manila stating i am already divorced..Article 178 of PD 1083 its part of our constitution..To ratify my civil rites..Civil wedding is different from other church wedding that they imposed no divorces..I still dont know why PSA have issued this memorandum circular where it cant truly apply for the law in the Phillippines

PSA didn't recognize your divorce, they recorded the document, that is what PSA does.. Philippine Statistics Authority..    Others before you had the PSA document as well ... like said -

Have fun with that.

Like Hank says you have fun with that. We have had posters here in the past who were caught up in this and their visas were not approved because they got married in a church and got divorced under Sharia law. The USEM does not recognize this at all anymore. So you will have to go the annulment route.

Yes i had read and understand those post about Sharia divorce denied..My concern is Christian wedding and civil wedding are different..Under article 178 PD 1083 Civil wedding can be dissolve and divorce by conversion.. PSA issue memorandum circular 2015 - 17 those were married under civil wedding can be ratify by conversion..Christian wedding and civil wedding are different but the same legal in Philippine law

Church wedding (or as you want to call it - christian wedding) and civil wedding are not different, they are same.

You have only one question to answer in regards to your sharia divorce being accepted, and your answer to this is the answer to if your divorce is valid.

Were you married under sharia law?
