Hi @Bree2Sweet, I am the beneficiary (Jamaican) and my fiance sent our petition in Oct (NOA1 - Oct 3). I'm almost 5 months in from the waiting. At the moment (and quite possibly for a while) there is a huge backlog of visas & petitions (not just K1) for approvals so do not try to worry about it too much. I'm pretty sure that the beneficiary being from Jamaica will not expedite or slow down the case. I would advise you to update your timeline to get an estimate on your adjudication date as well as to visit the February filers thread and do a meet and greet if you haven't already.

What to do after NOA2:

Spoiler

After USCIS approves the petition, it is sent to the National Visa Center (NVC). The NVC will assign you a case number and send your petition to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate where your fiancé(e) lives.

The NVC will mail/email you a letter when it sends your fiancé(e) case to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate. Once you receive this letter, inform your fiancé(e) to take the below-listed actions to apply for a K-1 visa and prepare for the interview.

Hello, We filed on June 26, 2017. It look basically  6 months something for our case to be approved by USCIS then when relatively fast to and through the NVC. It took basically two business days for our case to get to the embassy. Currently, we got our interview schedule for march 2018. So we are anxiously waiting on that..

I agree, If the process remains the same with the USCIS then you can expect  roughly this timeframe... sadly

For us,  the beneficiary had sent them an email asking about it and they responded.. Other from that they did not and still have not sent us, (neither petitioner nor beneficiary) anything. Please know I'm just staying my experience with them
