We submitted an expedite request on 7-12-19, case has been ‘completed’ since 7-29-19. Tier 2 said that our case is under review and we should hear something shortly. That was last week. This whole process has been so frustrating. We are February filers.

WOAH!! Our Case Status just updated to "Card in Production"!!! We didn't receive any other updates since they sent the e-mail requesting evidence. We faxed on 6/27, and got the update today (14 days)!

After 60 days of painful waiting.... “New Card is in Production” as of today!!! What an incredibly frustrating and anxiety inducing process.

Hi all. 

 

My EAD got approved today after 80 days total. I sent in my expedite request on 06/15 and again on 07/15 through separate public representative offices (Kamala Harris and Susan Davis). On 08/01 a new card was being produced, and mailed on 08/05

Hey guys just wanted to update I received my EAD/AP combo card today. I have put a mini timeline of the expedited process on the comments to my EAD timeline.  Please take a look if you are still in this process 😊 

 

sidenote: PLEASE contact your representatives to help with this! I would still be waiting if it wasn’t for their help! Can’t put into words how grateful I am for their help. USCIS told them even after I had faxed them the documents, my file was still with the regular timeline piles and not to be looked at in MONTHS until senate pushed for it to be placed on someone’s desk. Also my representative told me that the national benefits center is one of the only centers that listens to them *hinthint* 😉

Submitted EAD request on 7/18 via phone; received snail mail letter requesting evidence of financial hardship 7/25; faxed evidence 7/30; received email 8/5 that card is being produced. We did not use anyone's assistance (lawyer, politician, etc.) Good luck to those who are still waiting. We feel very fortunate.

Thanks everyone, we called USCIS on Tuesday to inquire if our faxed was received. They told us someone would follow up within five days and then last night the status changed to: Card is being produced!

My husbands combo card arrived in the mail on Friday, August 9th. We applied for his social security card at the time of the EAD application, does anybody know when we can expect that to arrive or when we should start to worry?

Thanks! Yes, we sent the job offer letter with a copy of our student loans and one credit card balance explaining we needed the extra income.
