EAD Expedite Timeline After Fax Request

I received the email on same day as yours. No updates after that. I really hope they make a decision this week.

Please keep me posted! It looks like we both made our expedite request on the same day (April 10th). I reached out to my congresswoman and the liason said they sent in my evidence as well, but haven't heard anything since!

Expedite Request on the 11th, received email for evidence on the 17th, faxed the same day( job offer + student loans), and on 19th they emailed me saying that I will receive a decision shortly.  This is based on AOS c 9). 

I'm wondering how long it will take for them to approve my request?

Sure will do. Yes i reached out to my congressman as well and they sent the expedite request as well. Haven't heard anything after the email we received on 19th. Hopefully we both hear the good news today. Good luck

I got this email April 12: "We received your documents in support of your request to expedite the decision on your application. Your case is currently under review. You will receive a decision or notice of further action shortly."

USCIS officers judge each case differently at different timelins in expediting processes, but I got this email April 12 and since then no update, nothing ...

In addition I also went and asked the congresswoman to check on my case. Hopefully we get to hear something by the end of the week. Fingers crossed for everyone!

I just checked and it said my work authorization card is being produced! BUT, i never requested to expedite my work authorization, only my travel authorization!! 

 

I'm confused!

isn't EAD a combo card for people who are adjusting their status? I think that if you're not adjusting the status you need both, otherwise you should be good only with the EAD. Congratulations!

@florida123 Congratulations!! This is great news. Travel/Work authorization are part of same EAD card.

Thank you! So is it normal that when I check my status for I-131 online it does not show any update but only shows an update for my work authorization?

Yes, it is normal. Guess what, just a minute ago i got a notification that 'New Card Is Being Produced'. Expedite indeed worked, not sure if it was congressman who did the magic or expediting directly with USCIS. Glad you got it approved too.
