Guys, i need some suggestions. I expedited my EAD on severe financial loss on Sep27. I have not received any documents from them since then, so i called them this morning. Talked to Tier2 officer, he says email has been sent for the evidence and read the email for me. Officer said he is not the one to send the email again and he hung up. Has anyone submitted the evidences without copy of notice?  Any suggestions?

I'm currently trying to expedite my I-131 due to the loss of my sister.

I called USCIS on September 11th, got an email asking me to fax proof on September 17th which I did (fax receipt saying filed successfully). But now nothing, the status on my case still shows case was received. Did the biometrics on October 3rd, but I read it was not necessary for the Advance Parole I-131.

Does it happen that the status are not updated?

Apologies if this is stating the obvious but... you checked your Spam folder, right?

 

If so, and there's no trace of the email:

 

In the email they sent, there is an "ATTN" line with your assigned officer's number and location.  See if you can get another USCIS rep (L1 should be able to do it--an L1 rep read out the letter than was mailed to me) to tell you that information.  If you can get that, I'd fax it over without the email, but still referencing the number/location and the expedite request ID they assigned to the case.  

 

The email/letter does state to include it in the fax, but at the end of the day, if you tell them exactly which case it's referring to and specify the officer who is reviewing it, they can figure it out without any issues.

 

That's what I'd do anyway.

Thank you eckoin...i do actually have those officer's number and location. Nothing on Spam folder.

If you also read page 11 of this thread, someone received the same letter as you and got approved without having to send in any evidence.

i went to my congressman’s office today as my email was just sitting in the inbox of the person who deals with these issues. He sent off my job offer and email along with my privacy release form, and received a response immediately advising that they have the email. He advised to give it until Friday or Monday before I hear anything.

I just got an update today that my card is in production!!

 

Took exactly a month (put in the request on Sept 10th). Asking the Congressman did not help, as they told me that my application for expedite was rejected. Nevertheless, super excited that my card is here. I can start work at my new company!

It shows card was mailed to me yesterday on case tracker.

 

Does anyone knows that will the case status change to anything if the card is picked up by USPS?

 

My work starts at 22nd Oct, seems enough time to wait the card arrive. Lol stilk a bit freak out without the card in hand.

 

I cant get drivers license without a EAD. Hope I can get my license before in start working

Let me know if you get the “card was picked up by Usps update” . Mine was also mailed yesterday but I haven’t received any communication about when I will receive the actual card

Hi I just got a text from USPS, my card was picked up today. Cuz I have informed delivery. But the status in website has not  changed.

I just checked my informed delivery account and mine has also been picked up by Usps . Thanks

Told you that aide was a bit confused. Your congressman very likely helped since put the request in officer’s eyes again. I would get back to that aide and let them know, clearly they do not know the power they wield.

Hi, my situation is similar with your, my congressman office received an update on my case on Oct 1st: “This case is currently under review by an adjudications officer. Your constituent should receive a decision or notice of other action within 60 days of the date of this notice.” But I haven’t received any decision yet. What should I do? I submitted the request on August 24th, sent evidence on August 31st and received notice that it is under review on September 6th all by myself, the congressman office just followed up on my behalf.

I think the only thing you can really do is wait. As long as you haven't been told the case was rejected, I think you still have a chance to be approved. I'm not sure if it helped but after reaching out to my Congressman, I filled out a form on my senator's website asking for help, and another form on the White House's website (never heard back from either). I also called them multiple times asking about the status and if they could confirm that they received my fax. I never got a definite response until the most recent notification that my card is being produced.

Thank you! Called USCIS this morning to speak with a L2 officer and she put on a service request for me. Hope I will hear back from them soon since my work permit expired on August 17 and next week my driver license will be expired
