@eckoin did you get an approval on your ead? Haven’t received anything from USCIS though even a confirmation that they have received the documents I faxed. Kind of sad, but I’ll just have to wait.

Just got an approval on the USCIS website! I had no confirmation that my fax was even received--nothing in the mail, email, or on the site. With the hurricane, I figured I was going to call when everything settled back to normal, next week or so, but I just got an email that my status for i-765 was changed to Approved.

So good luck! Hopefully yours is on my heels!

I faxed all of my stuff last Friday at 9pm, so about 5 business days. I just got a notification today, so I don't know if Saturday is a business day.

Congrats you all. Notifications come late most of the time. I got mine on labour day weekend and I thought the same.

Hey, question for you since I'm antsy.  I see that panda's expedite process was: (1) fax documents -> (2) card is being produced -> (3) card is mailed -> (4) card is received, with steps 2, 3, and 4 taking about a week each.

My status currently says "Case is approved" as of 9/14, and I think yours did too.  If so, what was the timeline there?  Does it go from "Case is approved" ---(1 week)---> Card is being produced ---(1 week)---> Card is mailed ---(1 week)---> Card is received?  Thankfully I listened to you guys and expedited well in advance, since my work authorization expires in November, but I'll feel so much better when I have it in hand... Also I need to get that driver's license renewed!  It doesn't even say that anything was mailed right now though, just that it was approved and something will be mailed in the future...

Thank you!

Check DHS youll see card is being produced on there.

Nada on DHS.  Totally useless on I-765, and it still can't even find my I-130.

Typically card is being produced will show on the DHS site, not uscis site. It will be mailed usually 3-5 days after the approval notice. So wait for that next. Card mail and usps tracking will be on uscis site.

Ah, I gotcha, thanks! Can I assume the approval notice has been mailed?

Also, unrelated - what's up with DHS refusing to find my I-130? It refused to find my I-765 for a couple of weeks after I got the NOA, but still won't find I-130 after two months

Hi. So I had very weird case timeline so got card approved on 23rd. It took more then a week to get it mailed. I got notification we mailed your card on friday, before, labour day weekend and it was day off, after that on Tuesday, I got another notification that my card was picked by the USPS, so it wasn't mailed on Friday. it was sent on Tuesday and it took 2 days to get delivered. I was freaking out and probably got bunch of gray hair now 😂 but as u have nothing to worry just go with the flow. I don't think anyone knows how USCIS works. Coz no logic applies on them 😂

Oh man, sorry about the grey hairs, though I hear it adds character :)

That's not as bad as I was expecting - I was expecting four more weeks of just waiting. If they mail it to me by early next week I'll feel great about it. A quick 6-hour trip to the DMV and I'll be set. Thanks for the outline!

Ugh, where I live all non-citizens have to go to a single DMV location, and it's a clusterfudge. Immigrant friendly state, clearly. I drive by all the other DMVs longily, with the four cars parked outside. Maybe I'll try them again and see if the DMV person just doesn't know better!

Wow. Hmm. Dunno what state that is. But Colorado has been super nice to me. Can't complain 😂 wish you all the luck though
