Yes its generic, just the Team and Officer # is unique and needed for your fax. 90% of NBC officers refuse to use email, lord knows why.

Congressman rep said currently "job offers" alone are not taken seriously. Adding W2/Taxes/budgets show you have a history of working and paying taxes and you would like to do it again. Just depends how your cover letter is written and how you want to use your supporting evidence.

Again the #1 evidence is a letter of how crucial you are from the employer with the job offer.

Does it have to be a long letter? I can ask them but they are so busy with other stuff...I feel like I am getting another E2 visa.

At the end the employer is justifying why they need me and can't hire someone else.

Two sentences or a paragraph is fine. Myself, I also put a timeline of all the various interviews/discussions we had to show how much time both employer and myself spent in the process.

I think I can get a 2 sentence statement from the Head of, especially if I prepare the content. I am so sorry for asking you 1000 questions but does this statement have to be on a letter with letter head and so on or is an e-mail sufficient? From the hiring manager is sufficient, right? It doesn't have to be from HR?

The job offer letter has to be on a letterhead. The email could be sufficient, HR or hiring manager whoever you think is easier or more willing to write. I can send you someones sample letter they used so you can judge will pm you.

That would be great! Thank you! I was writing you a PM right now but I stopped because I am currently looking for examples because I realized that I don't know how to write it.

For those wondering. For my AP expedite, after the fax I sent 3 days later they mailed out "we received your evidence" mail. Not sure if that is same case with others for the EAD. Basically got 1 mail to fax evidence and now a second mail that evidence has been received. The letter was dated same day as the last 3 updates on the site.

New Card Is Being Produced

On August 9, 2018, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number MSCXXXXXX, and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Im so happy for those of you who got approved. Congratulations. For those who are still waiting I wish you the best.

Im very glad I was wrong and the updates dont mean a denial!! :)

Also- a job offer is NOT a valid reason for expedite. Check the exedite criteria list. Its called something like financial loss. So the whole thing is really silly because its like splitting words- but thats how USCIS is. You have to show you have financial need for the job and you have a job offer waiting.

So you need a job offer ( a letter/paper from the company offering you the job. Company letter is best. Contact info for person hiring you {they wont call}) You also need proof of your finances. This can be tax statements, bank statements and/or a affidavit from you showing your current monthly expenses and income. If you ever applied for a loan or a fee waiver request its the same thing you would have created then. Just a basic list of EVERYTHING you spend. Ideally it should show more out then in.

Just like everything else with USCIS there is no official list of what you need to submit. It will be individually specific. Evaluate your packet and include things that support financial loss.

Hi all, just wanted to give you an update on my process - I got my EAD approved on August 2nd (after congressman had reached out) and it was mailed on August 7th, my request date for an expedite was July 5th and I was never able to fax the documents in. Good luck - I really think reaching out to the senate is the best way to speed it up.

As you can see @Juliees only submitted her job offer and she wasn’t even able to get it through.

I have read about a lot of cases where a pending job offer was sufficient. Now that the number of expedite requests have increased, I agree that a job offer alone might not be sufficient anymore but it’s also a case by case decision depending on the officer.

Google Senator Feinstein or Senator Harris. Goto their site and fill out the form.
