Expedite.JPG

So July14, was when the evidence letter was dated. Assuming it took 7-10 days to get to you. When did you fax your evidence?

Did you get an e-mail or a letter that told you to submit the paperwork?

I got a letter. I called on July 11th, and received the letter on July 24th, which took forever. Then I religiously faxed my documents for 5 days straight since they were all unsuccessful/busy. Then it was successful on Aug 1st.

Thanks. Took 3 days to assign to officer than, took 10 days for letter to get to you. And then sadly the fax delayed you another week. Pretty damn sure you are approved soon. But you can see how they delaying the process.

Thanks. Finally a big relief. I did indeed reach out to Senator Harris here in California and my congressman but I never heard from neither of them, so I am assuming that they played no part.

Yea, I tried my congressman Scott Peters office. No help. Emailed Senator Harris' office yesterday afternoon with no response yet.

Hi guys, please help. If anyone faces this issue before, please advise.

I called USCIS yesterday to expedite EAD process based on financial hardship and have active job offer. Today, I just received email about my case:

"The status of this service request is:
Due to the high volume of expedite requests for this case type, we are strictly enforcing the criteria that has been set for these expedite requests. While your situation appears serious, you have not provided evidence of an extreme emergent need. "

This is the first email I received, and I didn't not have any chance to send/fax my supporting documents. Does it mean a denial?

The case history shows:

1. On August 8, 2018, your request to have your case expedited, referral number xxxxxMSC, was assigned to an officer for response.

2. On August 8, 2018, we sent a response to your request to have your case expedited, referral number xxxxxMSC.

3. On August 8, 2018, your request to have your case expedited, referral number xxxxxMSC, was completed.

No they cannot. Every field office/local USCIS team has a different fax number (at least for different local office). It's more than likely you will receive either an email or a mail with specific instructions that you need to follow.

In addition, anything you submitted may be ignored before the request even enters their system or before they make a decision whether or not they even want evidence.

If you have the reference number already, give USCIS 5 full business days before you call them up again to inquire about the case.

Hope you get your email or mail soon.

If you're afraid that the USCIS officer has not put in your request, reach out to your congressman. The liason office may help to even speed up the expedition request.

No, I am not. I cannot work until I receive the EAD. Did you face this problem before ?

No, I just know that they can see if your working visa is still active or not. That’s why I was asking.

I think the requests have been increasing because more and more people know how about this option now. Ok surprised you guy a denial on the spot though.

I hope someone can help you. I just know that you have to wait a couple of days until you can request another expedite.
