So I finally got the expedite approved (almost 2 weeks since I asked for it). How long does the next step (approval of the EAD) usually take now?

Congrats! Was your request base on financial loose and job offer or other categories?

Financial loss, though I was also outside normal processing time

Thanks. Has the printer issue been resolved or are the cards still taking a long time to come?

My approval came a month after (that was in early June)

Wow, that was fast, just got my approval, a couple hours after the expedite approval. Now the mailing-has it been picking up speed? What am I looking at for that?

Also, my EAD case status updated to “card being produced”, but my AP did not. I assume this is normal and the card will be combo even though there’s no note on the AP?

Yesterday my status said "card being produced" and today it updated to say "case was approved, we sent an approval notice" (along with my I-131, which until now had nothing). Is this normal? Seems like its going backwards.

Its normal

Hi everyone. My wife got a job offer today which is lower than the market rate and she don't want to accept it. my question is can we use this job offer to expedite her EAD process while she is going to reject the offer? Will USCIS officer check with the job offer issuer employer?

Well others have done this and I seriously doubt they check anything.

My AOS NOA was on June 11

Applied Expedite request yesterday under Job Offer category.

Got a reply today saying it was denied since i have still not appeared for biometrics and that i might request expeditious processing request again once the biometrics are done.

On the case tracker app it says :

“On August 13, 2020, we denied your request for expedite processing of your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization,

You did not provide evidence of an extreme emergent need”

#FYI No one asked me any evidence so I’m a bit confused and wondering if i just let it go and wait and decline the job offer 🤷🏽‍♂️

I got denied at first like that too but then contacted the congressman and got an approval second time. Unfortunately, card will still not get produced even if you are approved but missing the biometrics:(

Congrats mate and hopefully your card will arrive soon since you’re scheduled next week for biometrics.

I’m thinking wait for the biometrics then will see what Happens. I’m just surprised when they used that line like me been without biometrics us my fault. They could have just waited till i do the biometrics then ask me whatever proof they need and then make their decision.
They want us to be self sufficient and all that and refusing to give us the authorization to work.
I hope they just give people the ability to work during their entry. Boom you go ahead and pay your own bills  but here we are our requests been denied with vogue responses.
