If you are outside normal processing times absolutely.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Has anyone ever had the note "On May 6, 2020, your request to have your case expedited, referral number xxxxxxxx, was completed." ? Does this just mean they've received my evidence?

No it will usually take about 2- 4 weeks till you get it in the mail though some say that that they have been told the number right away.

One of 3 normal status updates before you received the email where they request the evidence. Most of the times there's no update about the receive.
