Congrats!! I got the approved update on April 2nd and got the card today. So 6 days total for me.

WOAH!! Our Case Status just updated to "Card in Production"!!! We didn't receive any other updates since they sent the e-mail requesting evidence. We faxed on 6/27, and got the update today (14 days)!

The same day. I got the expedite request approved update in the morning and then new card is being produced update in the afternoon.

Ok...I haven’t got any update since morning just that they approved my request and that’s it. How much time they take usually to send the card for production and is there any chance they can delay the green card any further?

I think generally you will receive your EAD in one week after the expedite request being approved. Regarding the delay of green card, then I have no idea what's gonna happen.

Finally received EAD in hand!!! 🥳

 

No SSN yet though, but where would the ssn be coming from, the local ssa office or somewhere else? I would call my local ssa office but not sure what to ask them.

If you applied for the SSN via the I-765 then it seems they are processed and created from a central SSO in Baltimore, MD. When I contacted my local office they had no record of the application, USCIS did.

My SSN that way two 4 weeks to process, 2 days to arrive. This was just before COVID.

So I called USCIS customer care number to ask how much more time they are going to take to send my card for production but the agent told me that my expedite request was approved that doesnot mean that my work permit was approved and he also told me that they will send out decision letter via mail. What does that mean? 
 

Is my EAD not approved?

Is my EAD not approved?

Expedite approved only means that you have an expedited processing for your EAD. Not approved yet.

You'll receive the notification eventually...

AOS from B2 (married to USC)

• January 8, 2020: Sent AOS Application Packet Through USPS (Concurrent Filing I130, I130A, I485, I693, I765, I864).
• January 11, 2020: Package delivered at Chicago Lockbox.
• January 13, 2020: USCIS received the package (priority date).
• January 21, 2020: Check Cashed.
• January 25, 2020: I-797c hard copies received (Including Biometrics Appointment).
• February 07, 2020: Biometrics Appointment.
• February 11, 2020: The case was updated to show fingerprints were taken (I-485, I-765).

• March 12, 2020: Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview (I-485). 

• April 15, 2020: Request to have an expedited process (I-765).

• April 15, 2020: Evidence documents for the expedited process were sent (I-765).

• April 17, 2020: New Card is Being Produced (I-765)

EAD takes up to 30-45 days from the date you got approved to get it.

How long does one have to send in the evidence after USCIS asks for? I'm still waiting for my piece of evidence but was thinking about already placing the request
