EAD Expedite Timeline After Fax Request

I just called them again. The USCIS hotline announcements make my blood pressure spike! First person said she had system issues and couln't help. Second lady was more helpful and told me that my case has been assigned and the target date is today, nobody has looked at it in the past days. At least my email address was correct... now I am wondering if I made a mistake not asking for a tier 2?...

Glad this time it worked out! I do think the tier 2 offers are more responsible and accurate than the customer service reps. The person who made the mistake giving me the wrong receipt number was the customer service rep.

I also see two mails coming from NBC but they look identical. Also I thought it the actual EAD is mailed to us, the case status should get updated to "Card is mailed" but mine hasn't changed.

It might change throughout the course of the day, who knows? Informed Delivery only shows the tracking number. I was added to their system yesterday based on what it says. Im hoping for the best lol.

uhhh I am soo sorry to hear it!! It must be super frustrated to have expedite request denied! I saw some posts in the VJ saying you can wait again one week later. Not sure whether that's true. Also, if it helps, I expedited my EAD with just my job offer and the cover letter (along with the receipt email). My cover letter described how good the career opportunity is it and rare to find if I miss it this time. So I was more focusing on the career advancement opportunity the job provides rather than the financial burden.

I sent the same, cover letter and a job offer. I guess it's just a bad luck, the whole AOS process has been kinda this way.
Anyway, probably I will try to find a new job offer and try again later. Cause I got a RFIE as well.

Just got my update that the card was mailed to me and whatever USPS has is getting delivered on thursday.

I realized today that the tracking number that I saw before in Informed Delivery was not from USCIS. The tracking number for NBC shows in its description as " Lees Summit Production Facilty".  So its basically having the tracking number before they send it. Informed Delivery is really good. So I basically got the tracking info for the EAD today. Not sure if the other unknown mail is the SSN.

Ohh I see. I also just saw the tracking number in the Informed Delivery page. It should probably be the EAD.

Thanks for sharing. Sadly not everyone that checked the box got their SSN (or they might've been impatient) so I was curious to see how things went for people here. Good to hear that you got yours so quickly after your EAD.
