I totally understand! That's exactly what I was told..

After I faxed my evidence the second time, my case status became "Request for Additional Information Received". I think that's the confirmation that they've received my evidence. Did your case status change?

Hm, that's interesting. I never had the case status  "Request for Additional Information Received". All I have is:

  • On March 16, 2020, your request to have your case expedited, referral number T1B...MSC, was completed.

  • 03/16/2020

On March 16, 2020, we sent a response to your request to have your case expedited, referral number T1B...MSC.

I also have these three updates at the bottom left Case History. What's your case status at the top?

When did you send it? Maybe I should resend it asap.

I faxed it on March 18th but didn't see any case update or email confirmation. And then I faxed it again March 23rd morning and got the case status update two hours later. Maybe you can try faxing it again? It won't hurt.

Just received another notice online for request for additional evidence on my I-765, I haven’t even received the one I was sent last weekend on I-485. The question I have is should I submit both evidence as the come, or should I wait for both notices to come then send both?

Good morning all,

I am new to this thread. We are considering to file an expedite request for EAD, too. Does anybody know if you have to take the job offer from the employer that you send the offer letter from? Example: I sent offer letter from Employer A to USCIS as evidence and then start working for Employer B for various reasons. Does USCIS check this? I am just wondering because I know that H1B visa is tied to a specific employer.

Thank you and stay safe!

Also wondering this. Our situation is we received the job offer and requested to expedite but the job has since been put on hold due to COVID. Can we still send it as evidence and receive the EAD regardless? Do they check your employer after you receive the expedited card?

The whole process is a bit of a farce which is why I always recommend expediting, it is effectively something every body should do, longs as you tick the boxes that is all they care about and next.

No requirement to work or work for that Employer.
