I got approved about 2 weeks later without sending in any evidence. There’s a good chance you gonna get approved pretty soon without sending in any evidence. But this also depends on your PD. If USCIS is processing cases around or near your PD, you may be approved

Oh ok. Thanks. They’ve already approved some of the March people, so maybe they might approve me without even taking the expedite request into consideration. Lol. Thanks for your response.

I received a letter today asking me to send evidence to expedite my 485 case... sounds odd. I didn’t request to expedite my 485, but my 765 instead. Anyone who expedited ever have this?

They could have just made a mistake. Call them again to clarify.

Yeah. I’m gonna do just that. It’s weird because they gave me a reference number that is completely different than the one they gave me when I made the request. Also, the letter came from my local office, not the NBC.

Sounds like good news! I485 is at field office. I would send the same evidence and mention getting gc now or ead is needed for xyz job and financial loss.

I’m gonna call and see what they tell me. This is pretty weird considering that I never submitted that request. I also received a separate one with the reference number for the EAD expedite. I’m guessing the customer service person that did my request did a request for both cases.

I didn’t receive anything from them after I requested EAD expedite... It has been a week since Congresswoman office helped me to  submit my evidence, I mailed to USCIS as well, anybody has any idea how long it gonna take? Should I start to contact with senator? The Congresswoman office said even I contact with senator office, senator office will do the same thing as they did, so it won’t help to speed up this whole process and it might protetially slow it down...

You’re never gonna be able to. After trying for days I finally got to a tier 2 officer who said their fax machine never works and that we need to physically mail our documents out to them and gave me an address. Keep calling and trying to get to a tier 2 who can tell you where your case is being processed and give you the correct address to mail your documents.

I sent request for expedite based on financial hardship (pending job offer) on July 9th, received email requesting documents on July 12th, finally got through T2 who told me to snail mail, USCIS received package on July 16th. No news since then. I was able to confirm with a T2 that they have received my package though today, July 25th. What's people's timelines nowadays for hearing back after submitting documents?

Hi TNJ17,

I also mailed my evidence  for my EAD to be expedited, USCIS received it 16-July-18.  So far, no update on my case.

Hopefully, they will approve us before the week ends.

Tried faxing 5 times since 12am last night and its 8am right now.

 

I contacted the customer service number on the form and the lady that answered was mean. I asked for an address since the fax is busy. and she said, "what does the instructions say on the form?" and I said, "to have them faxed" and she said "well thats what you need to do." she was being a B*TCH. and I told her that I'm part of a group online and there were others that were able to mail them, and she said the same thing to me. and I hung up angrily on her.

 

How do I get in contact with a Tier2 officer? and an actual person?

I called the customer service number, then selected 2 for USCIS status, then I selected 2 again that I did not know my receipt number. (since that was the only way for me to get connected to a human)
