My EAD expedite showed response received, later that day my I485 shows request for initial evidence sent. Are they related? My EAD expedite has not been approved yet

Hello,

Yes, they are related. Once you put in an expedite request, they check your file and if there is anything missing they'd send you the RFE, which automatically pauses the EAD process.

Good morning,

I am officially joining this thread now. I called USCIS yesterday (3/30) to request an expedite of my EAD as offer letter is on the way. The agent couldn't tell me if I get a letter or email from them, so let's see. Will keep you updated.

Stay safe everyone!

PD: 02/06/2020

Biometrics completed: 03/09/2020

EAD expedite requested: 03/18/2020

Request for additional information received: 03/23/2020

And now I am waiting for the expedite decision..

I have sent my evidence they requested liken4 times and still haven’t heard from them that if they have received my documents.

I feel helpless as USCIS likes to prolong the process. I even called the customer care and they are like they are reviewing your case and will update you if they need anything else from you.

I totally understand! That's exactly what I was told..

After I faxed my evidence the second time, my case status became "Request for Additional Information Received". I think that's the confirmation that they've received my evidence. Did your case status change?
