Hi Guys

 My AOS petition is in process and I am planning to request for an expedite request for EAD as I have a job offer which clearly states that we need a valid work permit and I can start the job offer as soon as I have the work permit with me but my biometrics has not been completed yet and haven't received any letter for biometrics so can I still request for Expedite EAD?

WOAH!! Our Case Status just updated to "Card in Production"!!! We didn't receive any other updates since they sent the e-mail requesting evidence. We faxed on 6/27, and got the update today (14 days)!

As far as I know, you cannot file an expedite request without completing your biometrics first.

Request Expedite 01/13/20

Email asking for evidence 01/14/20 

Evidence faxed 01/15/20 

Expedite request Approved 01/10/20 

-11 days-

New card is being produced

Where can I check the status of my EAD request? I made an EAD request yesterday and they gave me a reference number but I don’t know where to check the status from?

Also I have not been called for my biometric appointment yet so will that affect my expedite request?

https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus you can make an account here and check, there is also an app. The reference number isn't what you use to check your status. It will be your i-765 case number that will show expedite status.

I thought you had to have your biometrics done, so it might affect it. But I cannot say for certain.
