Hello to all the VJ'rs!

I would really appreciate a minute or two of your time...... I tried to get the answers looking through the forums but struggled...... We decided to take on the task of filling out all the paperwork and going through all the steps ourselves with I129F ..... I have been using all the guides here on VJ and it has been a big help......  we received our NOA1 at the end of August 2017 and are closing in on hopefully the NOA2! ...whew!... long wait and still waiting.... so now this post is about the I-134 that I need to complete

Question 1

Soon we should be getting our NOA2..... so since I am the Sponsor I am preparing my I-134 form in advance..... Perhaps I can get some questions answered because most everything posted here on VJ is not current for 2018

Luckily I have a great career and I make well above the poverty level and have no dependents etc..... of course on the I-134 I will provide my annual income for question #3 in Part 3 but as far as the rest of the questions 4 through 7b.....is it best to leave blank?  I have been researching and it seems to be a grey area to leave blank or not if you make well above 125% above poverty...... I will have my employer send me a copy stating my salary for the last three years and amount of years of employed with them etc.....and I will still provide an official financial statement from my bank that will indicate:

1: I have an account

2: When the account was opened

3: What deposits that have been made within the last 12 months

4: Current balance

Also my Tax returns for the last three years blah blah....

As far as my assets, life insurance, 401\pension, and real estate .....Tell me if I am correct ..... if I include all that info then I would need to have my property and home appraised and provide that paper work?

Question 2

"USCIS online account number"  for part 1 question #10 ..... I can login to my account on the USCIS website but I am unable to find an account number.... the NOA1 receipt number must NOT be it because there are to many characters for what the form provides. Could it be provided with the NOA2 that is hopefully coming in about a month?

Question 3

Do I need to provide my fiance with the original signed I-134 so she has it for her interview at the US embassy in Thailand? I am reading mixed reports on that.... Not sure when and who gets my signed original I-134

Question 4

Part 3 question #38 Should I leave both boxes blank? " I intend" or "Not intend" to make specific contributions to the support of the person in part 2" ?....   and add additional info on page 8 "part 7 additional information"  filled in with my name (the sponsor) stating that "N\A K1 visa process for permanent residency" ?

Question 5

Vaccinations needed...... And what I am looking to find out is not just the ones required to get the K1 Visa approved but also the vaccinations when she applies for a green card \to become a US citizen. I have read its a longer and more expensive process to get the remaining vaccinations once your in the US.

She seems to have information from a medical office in Thailand that she needs Hepp B vaccination for the K1 visa 129f.....from what I read everywhere since she is over the age of 18 (she is 36) she does not need it at all

Thanks everyone!

If you qualify based on income alone, there is absolutely no need for bank statement or any other assets and you can leave all asset and liability fields on the form blank.

USCIS online account number --- if you do not know what it is, you do not have it. Most people in the K-1 domain do not.

Original signed I-134 is recommended. Copies usually work, but there have been at least one report of this being a problem.

On the specific contributions. It is not a big deal how you answer, nobody ever reported a problem related to this question. I answered, “I intend,” and in Page 4, Part 3, Item 38 additional information, added the following:

The person named in part 2 is a K-1 visa applicant. I intend to receive, maintain, and support that person in full for the entire duration of her stay in the United States. The specific contributions include, but not limited to, room and board, money for food, apparel, personal care, transportation, entertainment, and any necessary medical expenses.

It looks like you already know which vaccinations are required. But, unless you have reasons not to, I would recommend agreeing to every vaccine the clinic, where she goes for her medical before the interview, offers; otherwise she may end up with a nasty, ‘we offered her vaccines and she refused’ note on the DS-3025.

Basically, it is a checkmark next to “K-Visa applicant electing not to be vaccinated at this examination.”

If there is a possibility that she is pregnant, consult a doctor, some vaccines (rubella in particular, maybe others) are not recommended for pregnant women. Hepp B should be safe.

Good luck.
