No, we were waiting on the police clearance and just turned it in to the consulate on the 5th.

Interview booked for 13th June at Jhb consulate!! 🙌🙏😃 Note: we did the DHL-tracking trick to see when it arrived in Jhb, then called the consulate - they pick up pretty quick when you call (even answered when I called after 3pm). Asked me to wait for email with instructions, which I got the next morning. As I had already completed the DS-160 beforehand, all I had to do was make payment, and then booked first available interview date -> 13th June.

Has this every happened to anyone???? I really need help. My interview was on the 4th we were approved but my case was last updated on the 10th however my status still reads ready like I didn’t have my interview yet

Nope... My fiance called the consulate and they said it wasn't ready to ship yet... ugh..

Did they say how you will know when it ship?

They accepted our request to expedite the interview scheduling due to cyclone Idai and it's impact on the area in which my step daughter lives - hopefully within the next few days I will receive notification of a date in May (I HOPE!) if not June.

 

Any movement is good movement at this point

We got an email and a text.  The email had the tracking number I believe.  It was available the next morning after the email.

I'm praying that this will be the week!!!  I can't wait to book the flight!
