Hi there can anyone kindly assist please.

I have just booked and paid for my interview. As per packet 3 email containing the instructions, I emailed the consulate to in form them I have booked my appointment and now waiting for a response. I understand I’m suppose to book the medical now, how do I go about doing it ? Do I have to wait for a response from the consulate before doing so ?

Hope everyone is doing well.

U dont have to wait for a response from the embassy to book medical. If you have gotten your interview date you can call.the doctor and tell him ur interview date and they will give you a medical date...

You usually book your interview online after availible dates show up, after confirming your appointment and pay the fee for visa you can print out the appointment document to make appointment for your medica. The medical personnel will ask for the appointment letter for visa appointment at the embassy before she will book you. We paid for my Medical in September 14th & 17th R5400.00. My visa appointment for K1 was on the 27th Sept 2018 and I received my visa on the 2nd October and my flight to US was on the 5th October. Be prepared and do not book flight tickets before you receive your visa in hand.

Thank you 🙏. I have already booked and paid for my interview which is scheduled for the 25 April. When I called the doctors office I was told to go to www.usimmigrationmedicals.co.za and to fill in that form which I did.  No response as yet, then again I’m used to all this waiting.

Thanks again.

So someone at NVC just told me they think the birth certificate keeps being rejected because I am not submitting a South African birth certificate for my Mozambican Step Daughter !?!?!?!?!  When I pointed out the absurdity of that they informed me the case is missing the "Birth Entry Number" which is needed to proceed.   I asked her to open the document with me in which we both saw and recognized in bold letters along the top the equivalent of the Birth Entry Number.

The case has been forwarded to a supervisor to figure out why the birth certificate went from Accepted to Rejected and what is actually needed.  At this rate our interview will be in August or worse

Hello!

My fiance applied for his police clearance in the beginning of December and still hasn't received it back. Is anyone else having to wait such a long time for one of these?
