Hey just wanted to pop in and say congrats to everyone that were approved! Our case got to the embassy today! We are soooo excited!

Hi,

Did you receive the packet 3 from the embassy? Our case is also ready but we are worried that we won't receive the packet 3 for more 3 weeks.

Matt (he is the beneficiary) emailed the embassy and they sent the p3 packet, through email, right away after he emailed them! I would definitely have the beneficiary email the embassy tomorrow!

Hi everyone, 

wanti congrats everyone for getting this far. @Ayeshacharles congrats on your visa and safe travel to the states. If you are coming to the northern part of the states make sure to bundle up cause  our winters could get brutal. I told my fiance you will be in for a suprise when you get here in December. 

Could someone give me any insight on what documents they asked at the interview and what they ask. Would really apperciate it want my fiance to be ready for her interview so when the time comes it will go smooth hopefully. Thank you in advance for all the help.

Congrats!!

Tell the Doctor you have an interview on the 18th. It sometimes takes 2 weeks for the Medical to arrive at the Embassy.

Congrats Vintage Girl!!! Welcome to the USA!!!!!  I've been blessed. My fiance has been with me for 5 months at the beginning of the year and again since September. I feel so bad for folks who have to go so long without their loved ones. God bless and best wishes in America!

Yes i told the lady at the medical office my interview was the 18th and i was worried it wont reach embassy in time. She just told me that. Id have my medical the Thursday and my results would be sent off monday and they should get it Wednesday. Right in time for my interview the next day.

Hehe I'm going to the north of Michigan and I hear winter is already coming lol. 

 

The documents they ask for at the consulate where this is for Sout africa I'm not to sure what they ask for in Zambia

 

Vaild passport for the applicant 

Two full color 5x5cm front facing on glossy paper with white background

Long form/ unbridged birth certificate 

Death certificate of any previous spouse if applicable to you

Divorce decree of any spouse if applicable

Police clearnce fo any country where applicant resided in from the age of 16 

Military records if applicant

I-134 document accompied by tax returns from petitioner

Printed proof of payment 

Ds160 conformation page

Hi yes i seen that but you know im just worried since the wedding is already booked for December wanted to know from someone who went to interview. Thank you for the insight of what you took to the interview. I have prepped my fiance with all documents and more in case if they ask. Ahh you are in the worseeee you will see plenty of snow and coldddddd be safee lol. When you get to the States by winter jackets Im sure sA jackets are not able to withstand northern michigan winter cold. Enjoyyyy and welcome you to the States.
