10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

Hi guys

As you know I had my interview yesterday 13h15. I was a bit early so had to sit and wait for them to open up. They were closed between 11h30 and 13h00.

I had bronchitis this whole week so my voice was gone due to laryngitis. Luckily I had some of my voice back when going in to the interview section.

The Embassy was strickt like always. Be prepared with your docs. At Window one the gentleman will ask you documents while he tick off a form and then he will ask proof of relationship with photos. After that he take your finger prints and 2 color photos and send you back to a waiting que to the actual interview window.

During the interview they only asked me the following:

How and when did we met?

Are you married?

Do you have children?

Where will you live in US?

Who is the petitioner?

What does he do for a career?

Do we have wedding plans?

The lady then ask about a home abuse pamflet and just said your visa will be printed today and your passport will be couriered to your destination in 2 weeks time. I had to ask for the words that we are approved. The lady laughed and said yes, you are approved for the K1 visa

I really wanted to hear that words but hey she took my passport and all documents and just said I will get them back with my passport when DHL let me know when to collect.

I am ecstatic from joy and could not wait to call my fiance.

We close end this process finally with our approval. :)

good luck to you guys who is in the waiting que. You will be fine :)

As soon as my passport arive I will be flying out to Florida via Washington Dulles then JAX. Will keep you guys posted.

Hi everyone, I know it might be too soon but is there a way you can track your visa approval status? Or will they send me a email when collection is ready?

Embassy send me a email just now with tracking number for DHL parcel. On site they say I will get my package no later than Monday 12 noon. Super excited! Can't wait to have my visa in my hand after all this months.

Thank you for all your support during my journey.
