@Vintage girl you cant help but follow it here because its all over the news lol so even if you didn't want to follow it you couldn't....lol Praying for everyone on the east coast! looks like she gains strength every hour yesterday she went from a CAT 2 to a CAT 4 in a few hours  and could potentially get to a CAT 5

My Fiance keep me updated most of the time. His in Florida, JAX. I pray for the people who is in danger. Its terrible to be at risk of loosing your home or even your life. Nature can be cruel sometimes. Let's hope it will calm down and not getting stronger.

Hello everyone, I hope everyone is doing good. I have a rather silly question is the letter of appointment the conformation letter that I’ve booked my interview or do I get that from the consulate? cause I have only received one email from them and it was the  instructions and I emailed them the ds-160 and passport copy they requested and never heard anything.

The letter of appointment you receive after you book interview online and pay fee. They email it to you. Its actually just a short summary of your details and receipt number and interview date

I noticed that your interview is at the beginning of the month... I am making note of this because in the past individuals stated that they only conduct K1 interviews on the last Tuesday and Thursday of the month in Joburg. Good luck the rest of the way

K1 visa appointments only take place last two weeks of a month for example September were only 25th and 27th.

Heads up guys, K1 medical day one at DR Hoosen JHB. Paper work (your whole pedigree), Blood works, Urine test, then xrays at mediclinic. Take only cash with you. They do not have card facilities. It was a long wait, a lot of immigrants present and they have no order or organised system. From 9am till 2pm. So make sure you have time available.

One day down, two to go.

Monday the rest of exam and injections.

What a crazy day. So glad part 1 is done

If you go on the appointment website, they opened up dates for both October and November. I was waiting for interview date in September but things didn’t go to plan. They do immigration interviews every Tuesday and Thursday all month . A few  weeks ago date was open for the 6th of September, so interview dates are random, there was a couple not to long ago that had their interview in the beginning of August so it’s really random and luck of what dates they give.

Well thats my guess anyway lol 😆

Well all I want to say is you guys are really lucky. And I am so glad that the site opened up more available dates. Gosh I have been checking that site since July and only got a Sept interview on the 10th Aug that the site opened up. So we were a bit stuck in some period. But I am so grateful for our 27th September and I feel that it was destiny's plan for us to wait for some reason. Who knows.

Hi guys

My second medical went smooth. I passed my Immigrant medical. On your 2nd day medical the doctor do a personal check up. I did not receive any injections, mine were up to date. Doctor said I was good with that and no injections needed.

Its amazing how many people immigrating to USA. I met some really nice people at the medical.

9 days till my appointment. Looking forward to the last strech.

Will keep you posted.

Have a great week you all :)
