Thank you Kemm for the encouragement. I hope on Wednesday there will be dates available. 8 weeks till end Sept seems like a lifetime to me. Lets hope for a date soon.

One thing I've learned from VJ is that the experiences from others give hope, but its not necessarily good for you to hold on to that hope,  because everyone has a different journey and not all circumstances have the same outcome. There I was last night checking the damn embassy site like a crazy person, hoping that there will be a change, hoping that the site would change to open up for more availible dates on the 1st of Aug. And all I got in return were dissapointment and heart ache. No change. No availability. Same old story like all other days. Waiting...more waiting and more waiting. This is even worse than waiting for the NOA2. 

 

So I made my decision to let it go. If it happens, it will happen, if not then it's a story for another day. 

 

Im just tired getting all this hope that only leave you with more dissapointment and hurt.

Hi everyone, is there any South Arican's at the appointment stage getting the same message on the site "Johannesburg have no available appointments at this stage"?

It's been like this for almost 3 weeks. Really concerned at this moment. 

If anyone have the same problem your feedback would really be appreciated.

Hello All, I’m new to this, only received the NOA1 on the 1st of August. I am South African. So I guess there is still a very long way to go before we will get the NOA2. Just a general question to everyone who has already been approved and in the US now. What was the cheapest and easiest way to get your money from SA to the US? Bank transfer? How much does it cost?

No luck. Site still have no appointments. FRIDAY its 21 days since our Embassy package. Im stuck in this waiting game. Getting really frustrated

Too frustrating, just like i said the other day, once NVC sends your petition to the embassy here in Johannesburg quickly fill your DS 160 and book an appointment just like i advised some weeks ago and i also did to avoid this crazy waiting. I leave SA for Los Angeles, California next week Tuesday.

wow how exciting Safe Journey my friend pls let us know when you arrive! and I will surely try and do the DS160 I don't want too much delay thanks for all your help good luck with the transitiion
