They started with December yeah. We are 170 days since NOA1. Almost at our 180 mark. I really hope that we,will get approval within the next few weeks. I have hope and faith that it will happen. Cant wait to finally get done with this process. My embassy is also in Sandton.

Don’t worry it’ll come pretty soon. Our own process was a very weird one but all good now.

Our Noa1 was July 2017 and Noa2 April 18 2018.

Almost 10 Months without RFE lol. USCIS apologized to my gurl though. They ran all background checks. Smh.

Yeah I feel for you guys but hey I always say whats meant to be will always finds a way. This process is harsh on couples I can tell. In the end all this waiting is definitely worth it. I hope that destiny will be in our favour after all we couldnt even visit each other during this time. I hope that we get good news soon.

Hello Everyone, I'm back!  Sorry, it's been a bit crazy since my, now wife and our children, landed and we married.  Life is in full swing now with a family and settling them in.  How's everyone's process going?  Remember your police certificate cannot be older than 6 months (SA one), if you have another police certificate from another country because you lived there for more than 6 months after the age of 16, that can be older than 6 months IF you DID NOT travel back there since you received a police certificate for that country.  Also, remember medicals should be done NLT a week prior to your interview, so the results get back to the Embassy/Consulate in time for your interview.

Hope everyone is moving along in their process!  I hope to get better in getting on here, sorry I've been out of the loop for a bit.

Talk to you soon and hope you all have a good and productive week!

Hey All, Can the peeps that have been approved at Sandton please give tips on interview layout of proof relationship. I know it sounds silly but I worry about everything. Can your proof of relationship and having met in the last two years be organised in a folder separate from everything else. I stress about staples and too many sleeves....My interview is 28th June Sandton. Thank you.

Do not use USPS !!!!

My fiance send me a package on 18th January and I got it end March. The SA post service is terrible. The clearance at customs even worse. Use DHL .super safe and fast.
