I would call as close to 8am EST as possible. I called at about 11am EST and requested to speak to a tier 2 agent and they connect you through but its basically like a callback request and you leave your details etc. My estimated wait was at 6 and half hours and it was pretty accurate, but I'm sure it'd be sooner if you called closer to 8am!

Ok thanks for this number im going to call and see if i can speek with someone thanks again

Updated with interview date

July 15, 2019. - courthouse wedding
July 25, 2019 - Fed Ex AOS to USCIS
July 30, 2019 - NOA-1 for all 3
August 21, 2019 - Biometrics
August 25, 2019, fingerprints completed
September 26, 2019 - CA Driver’s license
October 2, 2019 - ready to schedule
October 11, 2019 - Notified interview scheduled

November 15 - interview scheduled for 8:00 am

Also, tempering our excitement, since others on VJ that were also scheduled quickly for an interview arrive to be told that the full K-1 file is not complete -waiting on missing internal portions required for full approval from the earlier processing steps - so no green card can be Issued yet. I think this is a case of hurry up and wait.

It’s coming up soon! Good luck and let us know when Mike gets his green card!

Thanks for the good wishes Tanya. We reviewed their paperwork for the interview over FaceTime today and made sure they each memorized the other’s cell #, since that seems to be a common question. Hoping to hear good news around noon EST on Friday.

Oh wow, thanks for the hint! I have no idea what my husband’s cell number is (that’s what cell phones are for) 😂

Did they complete any of the medical documents requested? I didn’t redo any medicals or fill in that medical form as part of the AOS application as I already did the medicals before my interview in South Africa. I’m thinking to just take my vaccination record and chest x-ray to be safe.

Hi there, can anyone on this forum that already had their GC interview please advise on the medical part of filing AOS and requirements for the interview? I did not complete and submit form i-693 with my AOS application as they stipulated that this was not required if you already had a medical exam in your country of birth before the visa interview. I just read the same statement on USCIS website again. However I’m seeing some conflicting information online where some applicants claimed that you have to do another medical or have a physician complete the vaccination part of form i-693 for your GC interview. Does anyone have experience and advice on this?

@SLV123 any good news after the interview?

Hi all!

Jumping to the best part first:

GREEN CARD BEING PRODUCED!😀😀

Interview went well, few questions asked.

Tanya, medical did not come up, so what was provided at POE was fine (At least in LA).

They were interviewed together and Officer Parker told them everything looked good for approval but needed to be reviewed. The interview was over pretty quickly. By Friday afternoon the UCSIS case status became ‘interview was complete, case must be reviewed’ which was expected but had a slightly ominous tone. I researched others that had same outcome all throughout the weekend. Some people wrote online they’d waited months to hear but I found in another site that status is kind of common in LA.

Anxious mom here checked about 10 minutes ago! and found the status JUST changed. Of course I was the one to let Jess and Mike know!

They are over the moon, especially Mike because he’s dying to get back to work!

GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE! Hopefully smooth process the rest of the way!

So awesome!!! Congratulations 🍾

Thank you for all the information. I don’t know why it’s never just a straight yes or no with this place! But at least the wait wasn’t too long for him this time around.

What a great Christmas present! I hope you guys enjoy the upcoming holidays.
