We are hoping as well... but....  Phoenix has a long processing time, so probably not until this time next year.  Really doesn't matter tho, at least we're married and she doesn't have to leave!

agreed! on another note, does anyone have advice on how to extend their drivers license? I have a limited term now for 60 days and i used my NOA1 docs from my AOS to extend it, but they now say i'll have to come every 60 days and extend it a further 60 days until i get either my EAD or my GC... any advice, I'd appreciate

have a good weekend further.

Hi everyone from SA!

So just checking back in to give the status of my daughter and now husband! They too are at the waiting for letter to arrive in the mail (Los Angeles is local office) for “interview was scheduled“ for AOS - that status appeared October 11.

Here’s the full timeline

July 15, 2019. - courthouse wedding
July 25, 2019 - Fed Ex AOS to USCIS
July 30, 2019 - NOA-1 for all 3
August 21, 2019 - Biometrics
August 25, 2019, fingerprints completed
September 26, 2019 - CA Driver’s license
October 2, 2019 - ready to schedule
October 11, 2019 - Notified interview scheduled

I am really hoping they scheduled it for 2019!

good luck to everyone!

Updated with interview date

July 15, 2019. - courthouse wedding
July 25, 2019 - Fed Ex AOS to USCIS
July 30, 2019 - NOA-1 for all 3
August 21, 2019 - Biometrics
August 25, 2019, fingerprints completed
September 26, 2019 - CA Driver’s license
October 2, 2019 - ready to schedule
October 11, 2019 - Notified interview scheduled

November 15 - interview scheduled for 8:00 am

Also, tempering our excitement, since others on VJ that were also scheduled quickly for an interview arrive to be told that the full K-1 file is not complete -waiting on missing internal portions required for full approval from the earlier processing steps - so no green card can be Issued yet. I think this is a case of hurry up and wait.

Hi Guys! Just a quick update. We got married at the end of June. I filed for AOS, EAD and AP in July. I sent my package via USPS and they lost it. I then made up a new package and sent it via UPS and cancelled the cheque included in the first package. USPS somehow then magically delivered the first package without even knowing it and after I requested return to sender of you do find it. So USCIS received 2 applications from me and one had a cancelled cheque. As you can imagine it was a whole story and I’m still not 100% sure that everyone is on the same page.

Anyway, I received receipts for the second package on the 6th of August and went for biometrics on the 26th of August. Since then I’ve just been waiting again. My USCIS account only says fingerprint review was completed.

I had some trouble getting a drivers license. They wanted to see a document with a date until when I’m allowed to stay in the US. The receipts meant nothing to them and my visa an I94 already expired. After a fight with the supervisor, he granted me a license for 12 months from date of marriage. I’m in Illinois

Just wanted to check, when waiting for EAD and AOS can you only track your status on your USCIS account or is there maybe another way to do it?

I saw snow for the first time in my life today!

Hope everyone is doing well!
